      • Karen’s Progressed Moon is in the 2 nd house.
      • It went into this house in early 2007.
        • Consolidate resources- finances, allies, talents
        • Work on building the “self” as a base of security
        • Gain benefits of prior actions or repay debts
      • The Progressed Moon will move into the 3rd house in July of 2012.
      • With this placement her focus will be
        • Expression of ideas
        • Collecting information
        • Writing, blogging, speaking and sharing information
The Progressed Moon The Year Ahead: Looking at 2012 Using Western & Vedic Astrological Techniques
    • Transiting Saturn Saturn is the teacher. It show’s what we fear and what we need to master in order to stand upright in the world.
      • Saturn has been in Karen’s ninth house since the fall of 2010.
      • Saturn is currently in the sign of Libra, which Karen has in her ninth house.
        • Learn how to see the bigger picture
        • Gain mastery over bigger concepts
        • Take on the role of the expert
        • Formalize a code of ethics or belief system
      • Saturn moves in to Scorpio next October
      • and then crosses her midheaven in November.
      • Saturn in the 10 th house will help Karen to:
        • Challenge your ability to set and achieve goals
        • Create a stable and successful career
        • Establish your professional reputation
The Year Ahead: Looking at 2012 Using Western & Vedic Astrological Techniques
    • The Transiting North Node The North Node is where one can develop new potential, find new opportunities, and grow in new directions. Astrologer Monica Domino calls the north node a hydrating force.
      • The transiting north node will transit your 11 th house opening new vistas:
      • In this placement you may find new vistas
        • Professional groups or business guilds
        • Colleagues
        • Friends
      • The 11 th house is often associated with our hopes and wishes, which translates as goals .
      • A good time to set the bar higher for yourself and create more “fertile” goals for yourself.
The Year Ahead: Looking at 2012 Using Western & Vedic Astrological Techniques
    • The nodes are also associated with the eclipses . In 2012 three of the four eclipses will touch Karen’s chart: June 4: full moon eclipse at 14˚ Sagittarius November 13: new moon eclipse at 21˚ Scorpio November 28: full moon eclipse at 6˚ Gemini The Eclipses The Year Ahead: Looking at 2012 Using Western & Vedic Astrological Techniques
      • Conjunct natal Saturn in Sagittarius.
      • Full moons signal endings - release your need to “know everything” through endless classes, lectures, and books
      • Conjunct your North Node.
      • New moons signal beginnings - an opening in your career or alliance with someone who will have a profound effect on your career
      • Conjunct natal Mars and sextile your Venus-Sun conjunction in Aries
    • Karen will demonstrate the Vedic astrological transit technique of Gocara, on Ron’s chart to see what 2012 will be like for him. Karen is using the Tropical Zodiac , the same as Ron and other Western astrologers, but utilizing Vedic techniques . In Gocara, we look at the transits of the planets from the natal Moon —the mind and memory, our consciousness of separation and individuality, since the Moon is always changing, just like us. The Year Ahead: Looking at 2012 Using Western & Vedic Astrological Techniques Karen White Divine Time Astrology
    • Extensive testing with hundreds of birth charts has shown the Tropical zodiac to be far more accurate when using Vedic predictive techniques . The general POSITION of a planet could be unfavorable from the natal Moon, but if the personal SCORE for the planet is high, the results will be favorable overall. The Year Ahead: Looking at 2012 Using Western & Vedic Astrological Techniques Everyone with the Moon in the same sign would have a similar reading, except the personal Ashtakavarga score for each person’s planet could be very different. Of course, if the position from the Moon is unfavorable and the score is low too, then the transit is more difficult .
    • The Year Ahead: Looking at 2012 Using Western & Vedic Astrological Techniques Jupiter is 3 rd from natal Moon position now, and will move to 4 th position from natal Moon in 2012 Saturn will move to 9 th house from Natal Moon position Venus is the time lord for next 20 years and rules the 6 th and 11 th houses Natal Moon in Pisces

        • Good for study of occult sciences
      • Saturn moves in to Scorpio, the 9 th house from the natal Moon in October 2012

        • Your personal high Ashtakavarga score helps you get re-inspired
