    Bio: Karen Huffman is Manager of Knowledge Initiatives for National Geographic's Libraries & Information Services. She is Webmaster, application developer, and Web 2.0 integrator for the National Geographic's Corporate Intranet which was selected as one of the top 10 intranets by Nielsen Norman Group for 2007. She has worked nearly 22 years at National Geographic, 9 of which have been in the Libraries. She has an MLS from the University of Maryland and a B.A. in Behavioral Social Sciences/Management from Maryland's University College.
