    Executive Search

    Strategic Recruitment
    There remains a growing need among companies to recruit senior managers across a range of functional areas. Unfortunately, job postings and career sites are not attracting the type of quality candidates most companies require. We deploy a thorough search process to identify top talent in middle management to complete those hard to fill positions.
    Continuous Recruitment
    While the notion of fully outsourcing recruiting to an external firm may not be a viable option for many organizations, there is a tremendous advantage to partnering with a recruiting firm who can act as an extension of your organization in the market. By working with our clients on a monthly retainer, we are able to determine their needs and identify talent in the market on an ongoing basis thus filling multiple roles over the duration of a contract.

    Research
    Every mandate starts as a clean sheet of paper. We build our research strategy around the specific needs of the client to ensure a targeted and rigorous tactical approach. Through direct sourcing, social media, and networking we are able to identify, contact and attract top talent in the market on every search we conduct.
    Recruit
    We deploy a multichannel sourcing strategy with an emphasis on direct sourcing. Our experience suggests that the best talent are passive candidates who are gainfully employed and need to be approached with a new challenge. Once these candidates express interest they are pre-screened, interviewed and assessed to determine their fit
    Report
    We provide our clients with weekly reports and phone calls to update them on the search process. We will provide an overview of our progress, discuss backgrounds of potential candidates and provide market intelligence
    We provide a full service approach to recruiting including credit, education and reference checks on final candidates, quarterly follow-ups with our placed candidates and clients, and a 12-month guarantee on all our placements.

    At Wexler & Associates, we take a more progressive approach to establishing our professional fees.
    Our proven methodology and rigorous search process ensure no stone is left unturned when we engage in a new mandate. Our team is motivated to find quality candidates in a time frame that meets the needs and expectations of our clients. Our fees are therefore tied to our process thus ensuring top talent for our clients and the highest level of client satisfaction.
    Our fees are based on one -third of the candidates first year cash compensation (base and target bonus). We establish a retained portion of the fees due upon commencement of the mandate and upon shortlist presentation. The remainder of the fees are tied to our success in finding the right candidate .

    Corey Wexler
    Managing Partner,
    Wexler & Associates
    Corey is the founder and managing partner of Wexler and Associates. He founded the boutique search firm in 2010 after 12 years with Korn/Ferry International, the largest global executive search firm. In 2006, Corey started the Eastern Canada division of Futurestep in Montreal where he led business development for all mid-level recruiting, and acted as general manager of the office.
    Prior to 2006, Corey was a Client Partner in the firm’s executive search division. He began his career in executive search in 1997 as a Senior Associate with a boutique firm in Toronto, recruiting executives in Financial Services, Technology, Private Equity and Real Estate. Upon the firm’s acquisition by Korn/Ferry International in April 2000, Corey was promoted to Client Partner and played an active role in the firm’s Advanced Technology and Private Equity Practices.
    Corey assisted companies, both small and large, in their pursuit of human capital solutions and executive leadership. He has successfully completed searches for Presidents and senior executives across a broad range of functional areas including sales, marketing, human resources, finance, technology, and operations.
    Corey holds a Master’s degree in business administration and a Bachelor’s degree in commerce from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec.
