      • Foreign donors:
      • Set up the Food Security Reserve to stock up massive amounts of food which can be quickly dispatched to areas in need when drought-induced famine occurs
      • Developed an early-warning system and a better road network to facilitate transport of supplies
      • Increase food and water supplies, sending health teams and improving overall sanitation and agricultural development.
      • Ethiopians
      • Parents resort to pulling their children out of school to supplement their income in times of drought by searching for food or work
      • Move on with their flocks in search of better pastures
      • Women invest in the younger generation, by getting the children to eat first, results in the elderly’s malnutrition.

      • Enset: Drought resistant,
      • high moisture carrying capacity and deep roots
    • 10. Impactors
      • Ethiopian government has declined help as it refuses to admit that Ethiopia needs aid.
      • Most of the food contributions are genetically-modified and are unsuitable for the Ethiopian diet and thus face rejection
      • Ethiopians rely mostly on Enset for food as only Enset crops survive after droughts that occur
    • 11.
