    • Creation of an inclusive and extensive Community events calendar that will be easily accessible and informative for all people in the Community and will recruit participants and volunteers.

    • To provide the Community an opportunity to showcase itself and engage citizens, new and established.
    • Promote Community pride through local events, i.e. Block Party initiative.

    • Addressing the social attitude of Wetaskiwin will pave the way for cultural and economic growth in the area, creating a sustainable and welcoming Community.
    • Welcoming Wetaskiwin will provide the opportunity for all the citizens to clearly demonstrate the pride they have in their Community.
