  14. 14. Impact On Environment 300 TONS OF CONTAMINATED WATER PER DAY
  15. 15. 300tons = 272,152 liters Can filled up an olympic swimming pool over 8 days time!!
  16. 16. Water leaked to pacific ocean everyday= 272,152 Estimated water contained at Taylor’s lake= 4,000 liters liters 272,152 ÷ 4,000 = ??
  17. 17. REASON???
  18. 18. They needed spaces for their storage to store water that’s even more contaminated
  19. 19. Impact On Business In total, 11 of Japan's 50 nuclear reactors were closed immediately following the earthquake.
  20. 20. The capacity to produce electricity was reduced by as much as 40%, and has remained at less than 80% of pre-quake levels.
