Success for headhunters, therefore, depends on their level of market knowledge, network of contacts and their ability to target and assess potentially suitable candidates. Advertising is often the most suitable method when attracting individuals outside a direct industry or when recruiting for a vacancy where there are likely to be many qualified candidates. Blind advertising is also used when clients do not wish to announce recruitment intentions for confidentiality, political or strategic reasons. Wenham Carter offers a fully managed Advertised Selection service whereby the Consultant and resource team take responsibility for every step of the process. We work closely with clients in establishing the requirements of the role and then identifying the appropriate media or websites. We book the advertising space and work with our advertising agency in designing, wording and laying out the advert. Once the advertisement appears we manage and assess the response and select suitable candidates for the client to interview. The Consultant will then meet with you and present the details of selected shortlisted candidates. Once a successful candidate has been secured we will keep in regular contact with them throughout the final stages ensuring that the offer is one that they will accept and any counter offer situations are overcome. Contingency This is a success only service and is used when clients believe there are a large number of appropriately qualified people in the market, they are less focused on getting the very best or do not want a firm to undertake an exhaustive 360 degree sweep of the entire industry. Wenham Carter’s Contracting team offers the fast response service and turnaround that is required for contract positions where the requirement is often needed yesterday and a business critical project rests on finding the right person quickly. Wenham Carter has built up an unrivalled network of Engineers, Consultants and Subject Matter Experts who have long and distinguished track records working specifically within the Technology, Media and Telecoms markets on a global basis.
