Identifies verb usage in sentences. Write sentences in present, past, in affirmative, negative and questions. Shares ideas, thoughts and opinions in a second a language. Routines, prayer, check attendance. Review Ss concept knowledge of verb forms and verb usage. Starting questions: What are present and past tenses? How can you build a negative sentence? Which types of sentences do you know? The teacher gives a hand out sheets with the explanation and examples of sentences in present and past. The teacher reads them. Oral pair work: The ss will orally work on pages 214 and 221 Act. Ss write yes/no questions for one classmate, ss play like if they were journalist, and choose a classmate to ask the question. Ss can answers in negative form Get all the ss to close their eyes the ss must now go around the room Ss work and give their own sentences in present and past Ss work on page 214 on the practice book, and then solve the exercises. Ss find negative sentences in magazines or newspapers and paste it on the notebook Ss write sentences using verbs usage in a booklet, separated by different tenses.
