    • 7. R E S U L T S • The purpose to LEAD – Simply, to make thing happen • Leaders – The person who leads or commands a group, organization, or country. – Other terms for leader in the bible? • Shepherd, overseer, deacon, elders . . .

R E S U L T S Boss vs Leader Drive employees Depend on authority Inspires fear Says, “I” Place blame for the breakdown Knows how it is done Uses people Take credit Commands Says, “Go” Coaches them On goodwill Generates enthusiasm Says, “We” Fixes the breakdown Shows how it is done Develops people Gives credit Asks Says, “Let’s go”

R E S U L T S • The bible stresses on training • 2 Tim 3:16-17 – All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. • Psalm 144:1 – Of David. Blessed be the Lord, my rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle;
