Program Features<br />Only ABA approved Paralegal program in the Mid-Hudson Valley<br />60 credit certificate program – 36/general education / 24 paralegal credits<br />Learn skills for a successful career in a law office, corporate setting, or public agency<br />Instructors are Marist Faculty and practicing attorneys<br />Weekend and evening formats<br />Placement assistance and internships<br />
  • 3. Weekend Program <br />Weekend Program offered at the Fishkill Center<br />Complete in 12 months<br />Requires - 36 transferable credits<br />Classes meet from 9am-5pm on alternating weekends <br />Students take 2 classes every 12 weeks <br />Full time students in a cohort program<br />
  • 4. Evening Program<br />Evening Program offered in Poughkeepsie<br />Requirement – 36 or less transferable credits<br />Classes meet weekdays from approximately 6:30-9:00pm<br />15 week semester<br />1-4 classes per semester<br />
  • 5. Admission Requirements<br />Complete Undergraduate Application<br />$50 application fee (non-refundable)<br />36 transferable college credits / 18 liberal arts<br />Proof of Immunizations<br />Personal Interview<br />College Writing Proficiency<br />
  • 6. Tuition & Costs - Spring 2009<br />Tuition $475 per credit for Weekend Program / students are registered for 12 credits each semester <br /> $550 per credit for Evening Program / students can take 1-4 courses each semester<br />Application Fee is $50.00<br />Books are approximately $800/program<br />

  • 9. When can I start?<br /><ul><li>Fishkill Weekend Cohort starts twice a year in March and September. Application deadline March 1, 2009.
