A business card scanner (CardScan 800C) will speed up the entry of your information to Microsoft Outlook, Goldmine, ACT and others. It will also help to prepare you for building your e-mail distribution list for client marketing.

Using Microsoft Outlook to manage your Contacts Once business cards are scanned into Outlook, or any other contact manager, you can begin to categorize what type of business people are in to better manage them as an “at a glance resource.” A Notes section is also a good way to transfer anything you may have jotted down on their card when you met the person; for later referral.

When your E-mail comes in….are you there to receive it… Or are you missing a potential client? The Internet age means returning calls and e-mails beyond the 9-5, M-F, and not just when you’re at the office, house, beach, etc. Get connected with a Blackberry or other SmartPhone device
