Sell benefits What problem does your service or product solve for your client? What keeps your client up at night? When you sell benefits, you get to know the client and then match your service with their need(s). Selling benefits encourages repeat sales, bigger sales and referrals from clients.

Meet your customer If you had three seconds to get Homer Simpson’s attention, what you offer him?

Beer & Donuts It’s all about knowing your customer. Specifically, what do they like & where do they live. Be sure to research your client and find out what they need and give them just that (satisfy that need).

Be a problem solver When you ask your clients the right questions, you can become a problem solver. In this tough economic times, businesses are looking for solutions to help them make more sales. Marketing budgets are shrinking, sales staff are getting smaller, and businesses are failing. Don’t just be a salesman, be a problem solver for your clients.
