      • Is it hard for other viewers to link
      • to your pages?
      • Every time this happens, you will end up losing precious customers.
      effective? 10
      • Do NOT exclude your name from your own website.
      • Make sure that your name is mentioned at least in a few places on your site. No need to plaster it all over, but your presence should be felt. It will give your site a little recognition.
      Scared of popularity? 9
    4. Make your site reader
      • Aesthetics play a very important part in making a website succeed. A dull, drab site will not be re-visited, even if it has really good content.

      • The colors you choose for a website are very important.
      • Certain colors enhance certain
      • moods. For example, green is
      • good for concentration.
      • Using positive colors will
      • help your visitors feel more

    5. Appearance
      • Make it a point to have a good background scheme; nothing too loud or flashy.
      • Light colored backgrounds with dark text always works, but you can also do the opposite. The point is to make your website easy on the eyes.
      • If you do insist on having some zany designs, set the image as the background for the page, and put a plain white table on every page that contains text.

    7. Get users to
      • Take the strongest point that your website has to offer, and present it to the users
      • A subtle mixture of both visual and textual details should tell users what they are in for
      • This allows readers to trust your site, as it gives them a fair idea of what it is all about
      focus 4
    8. Write
      • Be direct with consumers. Long, drawn out writing will work for print, but never for online media.
      • If you stray away from the topic at hand, it is likely you will lose a lot of potential customers. Stick to talking business instead.
      • Use simple words. Using long and ‘intellectual’ words will only make you sound like an idiot
      Smart 3
    9. Keep It
      • The more complicated you make your website, the more potential buyers you will shoo away.
      • Your site should be designed in a way that anyone can understand what message it is trying to give out.
      Simple 2
    10. Getting
      • If you want sales, you have to let people get in touch. Call to action links have to be included on all pages.
      • When you are adding a call to action link, make sure it is subtly done. Readers get turned off with too much sales talk, and patronizing them will not help either.
