In this illustration, the e-Business Manager components reside on
a Windows 2000 server within the Best network. The ISAPI plug-in
for Microsoft’s Internet Information Server facilitates secure
communication through the firewall. Communications between the
local network zone and the Best network are handled via DSL or
another dedicated connection.
In this example, the Web engine resides on a separate Windows
2000 server. Depending upon network configuration and system
load, this component may coexist with MAS 90 or MAS 200 and/or
other applications.
