  1. 1. Weekly News from WCUMC-12/23/2012Sharing the transforming love of Jesus, across the street and around the world. "Advent 2012 Christ Is Our Peace"“But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clansof Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.” Therefore Israelwill be abandoned until the time when she who is in labor gives birthand the rest of his brothers return to join the Israelites. He will standand shepherd his flock in the strength of the Lord, in the majesty of thename of the Lord his God. And they will live securely, for then hisgreatness will reach to the ends of the earth. And he will be theirpeace. Micah 2:2-5As we enter the last Sunday of Advent and look forward to Christs birth,we can rest in knowing that God is the source of our peace. God promises peace and salvation to His faithful people. God hears the confession and repentance of His people. God expects and desires that we cry out for His saving grace in our lives!.We are blessed through our faithful obedience and our availability tobe used by God!!!CHRIST IS OUR PEACE… and we are blessed as we believe that theLord will do what He says He will do.
