  • HOW-TO FESTIVAL Saturday, December 7 @ 10:00 am 30 Programs, 3 hours, FREE, 100% Fun A variety of programs for ALL ages. At The Springfield Opera House, 124 West Main Street
  • TALES FOR TOTS: Christmas Stories Monday, December 9 @ 10:00 am Ages 2 and under (toddlers). Please register at 336-755.
  • MOTHER GOOSE STORYTIME: Christmas Stories Monday, December 9 @ 10:45 am Ages 2 and 3. Please register at 336-7655.
  • VISIT WITH MRS. CLAUS Tuesday, December 10 @ 5:00 pm Bring your wish list for a hand delivery to the “man in the red suit.” Make sure to have your camera ready for that special moment.
  • HOLIDAY SAFARI Thursday, December 19 @ 5:30 pm Select a present from under the tree that relates to one of our surprise guest animals. All will have an opportunity to get “hands-on” with 6 different animals. At the Cooperative Extension Service, 211 Progress Avenue
  • PAWS-ITIVE READING Saturday, December 21 @ 10:00 am Therapy dog, Jade, and her handler, Dorathy, will be all ears to listen to your favorite holiday stories.

  • GINGERBREAD HOUSES Thursday, December 5 @ 3:30 pm Make a one-of-a-kind gingerbread house that looks good enough to eat. Ages 9-17.
  • PAYING FOR COLLEGE 101 Thursday, December 5 @ 5:30 pm Jo Newton, KHEAA, gives parents and students much needed information on college entrance. Ages 13-18.
