    Loan entitlement:
    15 items from Standard Loan and 3 Day Loan
    plus 2 Short Loan and 2 DVDs
    Loan periods:
    Standard Loan: 2 weeks 3 Day Loan: 3 daysShort Loan: 11:00 am the following morning (11:00 am Monday if borrowed on Friday or Saturday)

  • 13. 6. Holds and recalls
    If all of the copies of a book are checked out you can request a hold. Look for the button on the catalogue record.
    Holds can be collected from the Self-collection Holdshelf in the Short Loan area.
    When a request is placed all copies of the book will be recalled. This will change the due date of the book.
    You will be emailed with a new due date, this will be 7 days after the request was placed.
  • 14. 7. Fines
    Standard Loan: 20p per day
    3 Day Loan: 30p per day
    Short Loan: £1 per hour
    Recalled items: £1 per day
    The maximum fine per item is £35 for each loan/renewal transaction.
    If your fines are in excess of £10 you will not be able to renew, reserve or borrow items
