  5. 5. Pistol Cleaning Materials● Cloth patches● Cleaning rod and attatchments● Soft cloth● Small brush● Bore cleaner/ solvent● Gun oil
  6. 6. Safety Guidelines● Ammunition must not be present● Gun must be unloaded● Action must be open
  7. 7. Disassembling Your Glock● Remove the magazine● Pull the trigger to release striker springtension● Remove the slide● Remove the recoil spring from the slide● Remove the barrel from the slide
  8. 8. Assembling Your Glock● Replace the barrel in the slide.● Replace the recoil spring in the slide.● Replace the slide, barrel and recoil springonto the frame.
