The scheme is open to any accredited academic institution: primary, secondary, higher education (two-year, four-year, technical and vocational) institutions throughout the world. In order to become a member, institutions must supply proof of their accredited status as education or further education organisations by their local authorities. To accommodate the various needs of academia, Microsoft has created benefits packages designed for different types of institution.
Q&A Q. What membership packages are available to my institution? When considering which membership level is right for your institution, you should take into account the training needs of your students (programming/developing versus desktop) and the type of institution (K-12 versus higher education).
