    • The Tutor Training and Certification Program 2
      • 30% of elementary students fail to meet provincial academic standard.
      • 25% of high school students drop-out each year.
      • Social isolation, racism, bullying, and school violence.
      • Lack of support and individualized help.

      • Mission:
        • To train and certify volunteer tutors to help those who are academically at risk, and to do so in a cost effective and easily replicable manner.
      • Since 2002 L2L has:
        • Implemented program in 30 schools
        • Trained 1300 tutors
        • Provided 20,000 free tutoring sessions to over 2500 students

      • Costs will decrease as program grows

      • L2L supporters will have invested $317, 217 in the program by the end of this year.
