    • ".jpg" … is a basic photograph. Most photographs are saved in this file, and this is the image type that your digital camera produces.
    • ".gif" … is all over the internet. It’s optimized for graphics with few colors and little color change (like clipart and cartoons). This format is used a lot in webpage design.

      • only have to create an item once and PowerPoint will automatically include them on every slide
      • You can always make slides look different from the Slide Master, but a Slide Master gives you a consistent starting point.

      • a slide that includes the titles of selected slides in a presentation.
      • A new slide, with bulleted titles from the selected slides, appears in front of the first selected slide.
      • In slide sorter view, select the slides whose titles you want to use (To select multiple slides, hold down CTRL and click the slides you want)
    • On the Slide Sorter toolbar, click Summary Slide

    • File  New . In the New Presentation task pane, under New , click From existing presentation , select the presentation you want, and then click Create New . (This preserves our original presentation.)

    • The buttons should react accordingly i.e if the anwser is true then the user should be greeted with a suitable display, and if the answer is wrong, the user should be urged to try again.

  • 17. More presentation techniques Automatic time setting e.g. to set up a presentation to run in a continous loop On the Slide Show menu, click Set Up Show . Select the Loop continuously until 'Esc' check box. for a self-running presentation— for example, at a trade show kiosk— click Browsed at a kiosk (full screen) in the Set Up Show dialog box. This causes the presentation to loop and also restricts users from changing it.
