  2. 2. Every year thousands of women across the country and the world are effected by breast cancer
  3. 3. Across the US, thousands of women (and men) walk over 40 miles (2 day walk) to create awareness, gather funds and help find a cure for this deadly disease
  4. 4. According to the Avon Breast Cancer Foundation more than 200,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer in US each year and more than 40,000 will die from the disease this year alone Source: http://www.armyofwomen.org/bc101
  5. 5. During June 6 th and 7 th 2009, I walked 25 miles to help create awareness for Breast Cancer
  6. 6. I dedicated my walk to all the women in my circle of friends, family and business colleagues who have lost someone to any deadly disease (and just not cancer)
  7. 7. This walk was also dedicated to anyone in my circle of friends, family and business colleagues who are currently fighting a deadly disease (just not cancer)
  8. 8. Lastly, this goes out to friends, family and business colleagues who were generous enough to donate funds to help me with my walk. A great big THANK YOU Could not have done this without you
