KFC in India  KFC entered India in 1995 with an outlet in Bangalore.  KFC has 27 stores, 7 in Delhi, 5 in Bangalore, 4 in Hyderabad, 2 each in Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata and Pune, and 1 each in Chandigarh, Ludhiana and Agra.  Yum restaurants have 98 Pizza Huts and 6 KFC restaurants  Yum! Hot Opportunity in India  Met 4 KFC outlet incharge, they are satisfied with business.  According to them for KFC business the Investment is big.  Franchisee said that they sometimes feel that they are restricted due to strict T&C.  Franchisee are ready to operate few more outlets of KFC but the restriction is its huge Investment.  According to KFC franchisee they will be more happy to operate then PIZZA Hut because they feel there is a big potential market for their non-veg product.  They said they have good amount of footfalls.  KFC have core competency in branded chicken which has demand all over the world.  They said this business have good potential so people should think about such fruitful business.
