Status and Trends The greater the age, the lower the use of computers and ICT in general. Older women make less use of ICTs to senior males. The use of ICT by older people has increased significantly in recent years. Mobile phone is the ICT resource most valued by older.

Barriers and solutions The main barrier for older people is the initial access. Efforts should be directed to an initial approach to technology. Older people who have had an initial approach to ICT tend to become regular users.
