I tried to illustrate the knowledge management processes also often called knowledge flows. I named this chart 'LA ROSA' standing for Locate, Acquire, Refine, Organize, Share, Apply. ROSA is the Latin and botanic name of the flowering shrub Rose. It must NOT be seen as a cycle (set of consecutive steps) but more as a set of interrelated processes. For instance, after applying knowledge you might want to directly refine it or maintain it (in the system), or you can locate knowledge (from someone) and acquire it directly without going through the Organize/Storage process, ... I added the secure/protect step which is often forgotten in similar representations. Please contact me if you are interested in using this content of you want a PPT version of it.
