- C’est Kim et Michel. Ce sont mes voisins
- Para identificar una cosa o una persona se usa:
- C’est + sustantivo singular
- Ce sont + sustantivo plural
- La pregunta es siempre en singular:
- Qu’est-ce que c’est?
- Qui est-ce?
- Para hacer un comentario se puede usar c’est + adjetivo singular. Ej: Les glaces, c’est bon. La mer, c’est beau
- Profesión
- Paul est médecin. Il est médecin généraliste. C’est un médecin renommé
- No se pone artículo delante de sustantivos de profesión. Esta omisión concerniente a nacionalidad, religión, profesión , etc. Es porque son tratados como adjetivos. Ej: Keith est médecin. Il est anglais. Il est protestant. Il est marié…
- Se pone artículo para aportar alguna precisión: Paul est un professeur exceptionnel. Marie est une bonne secrétaire
- Caso de la tercera persona
- Se usa c’est de identificación en lugar de il est delante de un sustantivo determinado:
- C’est Jacques Dutronc
- C’est mon voisin
- C’est un chanteur
- Il est blond
- Il est sympathique
- Il est chanteur
