Why do some of us want to kill off the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN)? Why can't we use it? What do we want to replace it with? What will that future rich communication experience look like?
In this 10-minute talk at the Emerging Communications Conference (eComm) 2009 in San Francisco, Dan York provided one view of what the rich communication experience we are seeking to build is, why the PSTN can't do that, and what the pieces are we need to assemble to bring about the rich communication experience we want.
