“Any program in which employees cross international borders to

25. Their managers have already noticed
the difference
We are proud to have one of our own participating in PepsiCorps.
… Laith landed a different person than the one that took off. He has
broader perspective and has a renewed humbleness. We talk a lot
about developing talent, and this is probably one of the best talent
development programs I have seen. His stories and insight are even
making a difference to those around him and the rest of the
organization.

32. Reflections
• Validating the model – pilot launch in first year
• Leveraging an experienced partner – CDS
• Tying it back to the business – ensuring program
sustainability
• Defining it – leadership development program or
otherwise
• Clarity on the people you are looking for – passion
driven future leaders vs. do gooders
• Locations – easy immersion vs. BRIC countries
