  7. With our Employee Profile Builder it’s easy for employees to input their contact information, work details and volunteer preferences. We also offer simpler ways of creating employee accounts such as a HR data file to preload much of this information ahead of time for employees cutting down on their account set-up time along with Single Sign-On to remove the need for an additional log-in. With this profile employees can share more with you about what they are interested in helping you tailor your events and program toward their interests.

Just click the “Suggest” button and an employee can input the details of his/her event and submit to a program administrator for review and approval. Once approved the project is available to other employees to sign-up. Make it even more hands off by then adding the employee who suggested the project as a “Opportunity Admin” giving them the ability to mange the project and communications with other employees.

  14. Seth’s suggested talking points: You can also promote your company sponsored events right on the homepage of YourMatch making it even easier for employees to sign-up. Create landing pages for each event or office location. Company sponsored events are only seen by the employees in the area where the project is taking place eliminating the problem of employees in other locations having to sift through projects that aren’t relevant for their area.
  15. Easy sign-up flow for individual employees along with group sign-up options. Get directions, add to your calendar, contact local administrator, get full event description and make any other requirements or restrictions fully visible to employees. Employees can be asked custom questions by project (such as t-shirt size) and agree to waiver forms or codes of conduct prior to sign-up. Employees receive email confirmation each time they register.

  18. We aren’t going to lie and say that getting employees to come back and track their volunteer hours is always easy. Some will be great about doing it and others will need a little nudging. Our job with YourMatch is to make the process as easy as possible. In their profile employees can track their volunteer hours including the date volunteered. In addition they can also be asked to respond to any custom questions program administrators have set-up for the purpose of gathering more information about the employees volunteer experiences. This is a great way to expand your program reporting and be able to get at additional data beyond just the basics of the volunteers participation. Employees can also set up recurring volunteer hours for activities they do on an on-going basis. Concerned employees won’t track their hours? Not to worry we will show you how program administrators can track hours on behalf of employees for your company sponsored events.
  19. If employees choose to sign-up for an opportunity outside of YourMatch they can easily use our system to go in and add that activity to their account. We have full integrations with the databases from Guidestar and Great Schools allowing employees to find the organization or school they volunteered with and track their hours. Eliminates the messy data problems that happen when employees manually enter in details of a nonprofit or school keeping your data consistent.
  20. Need a way to keep employees up to date on your company’s overall employee volunteer goals for the quarter or year? Our Impact Tab allows you to customize specific goals you have as a company and make that visible to all employees. Perhaps you are looking to drive employees to use their Volunteer Time Off (VTO) more this year. You can set up a goal showing all employees who have tracked hours and took VTO as an example. Employees can further breakdown over company participation by their local departments, office locations, and more.
  21. Just about all of us don’t go anywhere these days without our smartphones. Imagine the ability to tell employees leaving your last company sponsored volunteer event to go right onto the YourMatch site and track their hours as they are leaving.
