  • 3. DOWNLOADING THE APPHow Do I Download and Install The App?Its a simple process to download both free apps and paid apps to your phone. Mostpeople writing directions for "how to download apps to iPhone" assume that youhave a username and password. Follow the instructions below for easydownloading. 1. First you will need to create an account on the Apple AppStore website before you can download any apps. Follow the link below to take you to the sign up page. 2. When you sign up, you will need a credit card or payment information, even if you only download this free app, Apple AppStore will still require this information. After you are done with this process, you should have a username (email address) and a password. You will need these to download the apps. 3. From your iPhone, click on the App store button and scroll through to find the Voices.com app. Or, you can just search “Voices.com” in the App store and it will come right up. 4. Select the Voices.com app and hit the "free" button (its a free app), it will then change the "free" to "install". Click again to install. Here is where you will enter your username and password. You should only have to enter your username once and your iPhone will remember it, but you will need to always enter a password to prevent just anyone from downloading apps to your iPhone. 5. Once your iPhone has started downloading the app, a status bar will show up to indicate how long it will take to download, (approximately 1 minute). Once it is complete, you can access your new app on your iPhone. SIGNING UPNew Voices.com MembersYou can sign up for a free Voices.comaccount to get access to all the cool newfeatures of the Voices.com App.The first step is to select your account type.Are you a talent or client?A client is a person who is looking to hire avoice talent for a project such as acommercial, narrate a video, provide a voicefor a character in a game or record avoicemail message.A talent is a person who is looking for voice-over work, wants to record a sample of theirvoice on their iPhone and promotethemselves to prospective employers.To sign up, all you need to do is select ausername, password and add your nameand email address. That’s it! Once you’vesigned up, you’ll be immediately logged inand can start using the app right away. RESETTING YOUR PASSWORDGetting a New PasswordIf you forgot your password, that’s OK.Simply click the Forgot Password link on theVoices.com App login screen and you’ll seethe option to have your password reset.   • 7. SEARCHING FOR VOICE TALENTSearching by KeywordSearching for voice talent on the iPhone isfun and easy. To get started, tap the Searchbutton in the navigation bar. At the top of theSearch screen, you’ll see a search barwhere you can search our marketplace of25,000 voice over talent from around theworld. Search by keyword, language,gender, location and more.Browsing by CategoryAlternatively, if you know the category ofaudio samples you’d like to listen to, just tapthe category icon.   • 8. VIEWING PROFILESSeeing The ResultsThe search results show the name of thevoice talent as well as a few descriptivewords for their voice, commonly referred to astags. The voice talent’s overall feedbackrating will also be presented along with theability to immediately hear their demo. Byclicking the arrow you will also be able to seean expanded view of the selected talent’sprofile.Learning More About a TalentIf you hear a voice talent you might like towork with, tap through the search result tosee their complete profile. Each profile ismade up of three parts; Bio, Demos,Feedback.The bio lists all the talent’s biographicalinformation such as their work experience,credits, skills and recording studio set-up.The demos tab showcases audio samples ofthe voice talent. Each demo includes a title,description and options to share by email,Facebook or Twitter.The feedback tab reveals ratings and reviewsthat the voice talent has received from work they completed through Voices.com.To move ahead, simply tap the “Request Quote” banner at the top of the profile.   • 9. POSTING A JOBManaging Your JobsA Job is a project that requires a voice overrecording. Usually dozens of talent will applyfor these job postings. Posting a job willallow you to receive MP3 voice-over demosand price quotes from a variety of voice-overprofessionals. It is quick and easy to do. Ourjob posting service is free and yields fantasticresults.Posting Your First JobTo post a job, tap the New Job icon which willbring you to the job posting form. Pleasecomplete all of the fields. For quotingpurposes, our members request that youprovide as much information as possibleregarding your company, the nature of yourproject, the length of the script (word count orfinished running time), market size and whatyour company has budgeted for voice-overwork. Vocal direction and a sample script arealso very helpful. If you do not require acustom read of your script, please note thatin the details section of the job posting.   • 10. EDITING A JOBChanging The InformationYou have the ability to edit your job postingright from within the Voices.com App. In thebottom navigation bar, tap the Jobs buttonand locate your job. On the Job Detailsscreen, simply touch the Edit icon which willflip you into edit mode. Make your changes,and then click Save.   • 11. REVIEWING RESPONSESHow Do I See Responses?Within your job, you can simply toggle overto the Job Responses screen asrepresented by the microphone icon. You’llsee the number of responses listed too soyou’ll have a quick snapshot of how manypeople have replied to your job posting.On the Job Responses screen, you’ll see alist of voice talent including their overallfeedback rating, their quote for your projectas well as a large audio player. Tap the playbutton to listen to a sample recording of yourscript, commonly referred to as an audition.You can see even more details by tappingthrough to the next screen called theResponse Details. HIRING A VOICE TALENTViewing Response DetailsThe Response Details displays a proposalwritten by the voice talent and some actionsthat you can take such as “Liking” the talentby touching the thumbs-up icon or deletingthe response.The Voices.com global marketplace isextremely responsive and we’re confidentyou’ll be impressed with the quality andvariety of professionals who reply.How Do I Hire a Talent on the iPhone?Once you’ve listened to all your auditionsand narrowed it down to your favorite talent,you’re ready to award your job. You’ve foundthe best candidate based upon performance,audio quality and price so you’re ready tomove ahead.On the Job Response Details screen, you’llsee a button labeled “Award Job.” Tap“Award Job” and you’ll see options forplacing your order by credit card.For tight deadlines, it’s recommended thatyou call our customer service hot-line, toll-free within North America. Friendly customerservice representatives are available to take your call, complete the hiring andaccept payment by credit card over the phone. A receipt for your payment will besent to your email address and the project will proceed immediately. MAKING PAYMENTSending Payments To Voice TalentOn the Payments screen, you’ll see a list ofyour payments with information such as thejob the payment was for, the date you madethe payment and the amount.To see more information related to apayment, tap through to view the PaymentDetails.Here you’ll see the payment details. Onceyou’ve received the completed audio filesand you are satisfied with the work, tap“Release Payment” which will notifyVoices.com to release the funds from escrowand issue the payment to the voice talent.That’s it! You’re done.   • 14. COMMUNICATING WITH TALENTInboxAccess all your previous messages andcommunicate with voice talent right fromyour iPhone. The list of messages in yourInbox is organized by most recent on topand you’ll even see which messages arenew as indicated by the blue dot. If you’veread a message, there will be no blue dot.You may also view your previously sentmessages and deleted messages.Message DetailsSimply tap the subject line to see the fullmessage.
