  1. 1.    Psa 42:1 To the chief Musician, Maschil, for the sons of Korah. As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. Psa 42:2 My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God? Psa 42:3 My tears have been my meat day and night, while they continually say unto me, Where is thy God?
  2. 2.  - “What do you consider to be your church’s greatest threat?” The number one answer was, “lost passion for God.” “What do you consider to be your church’s greatest weakness?” - The number one answer was, “Lack of zeal or commitment among members.” The number two answer was, “Lack of burden for lost souls.” 
  3. 3.  Passion means; intense emotion such as love or joy. Enthusiasm for something Hunger, thirst, craving Delight, fervency, obsession
  4. 4.  MISPLACED PRIORITIES
  5. 5.   Psalm 127 "It’s senseless for you to work so hard from early morning until late at night, fearing that you’re going to starve to death;, for God wants His loved ones to get their proper rest." Mat 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
  6. 6.  Matthew 6:24 says, “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.”
  7. 7.   MISPLACED PRIORITIES MIS USED GIFTINGS
  8. 8.  1 Peter 4:10 says "Each of you has been blessed with one of God’s many wonderful gifts to be used in the service of others. So use your gifts well."
  9. 9.    MISPLACED PRIORITIES MISUSED GIFTINGS AN UNCONFESSED SIN
  10. 10.  Psalm 38:4"My guilt has overwhelmed me like a burden too heavy to bear... I am bowed down and I am brought low."  1 John 1:9 says "If we confess our sins He [God] can be trusted to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

  12. 12.    Mat 6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: Mat 6:15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Col 3:13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

  14. 14.   2Co 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? Amo 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
  15. 15.  Heb 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
  16. 16.  Ps 27:4 One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.
