2010July21 Ethics, Values and Good Habits - Vivekananda Centre of Human Excellence, Dr. Marri Chenna Reddy Human Resource Development Institute of AP, Hyderabad.

A one week programme was arranged for the officers of the various Departments of the Government of Andhra Pradesh, at the Vivekananda Centre of Human Excellence, at the Dr. Marri Chenna Reddy Human Resource Development Institute of, Hyderabad, popularly known as MCR HRD Institute, with the active support and collaboration from the Vivekananda Centre for Human Excellence, Ramakrishna Math, Hyderabad.

As a part of the programme, myself, i.e. Prof. V. Viswanadham was assigned the topic of Ethics, Values and Good Habits. The usual power point presentation, was slightly modified for this occasion. The presentation can be viewed at www.scribd.com please search for Viswam.vangapally4581 and kindly locate the item. Also, you can visit: www.slideshare.net/viswanadham and locate the PPT.

The lecture was delivered in Telugu, while the presentation was in English.
The live recording of the lecture, if 2 parts, can be heard / downloaded. Please visit: www.archive.org – please search for Prof. V. Viswanadham, and further sort the results by date added to locate this item – 2010July21 Ethics, Values and Good Habits - Vivekananda Centre for Human Excellence - MCR HRD Institute.

Importance of values, particularly human values was explained in the general context of declining values. The importance of cultivating good habits and its influence on our attitude and life were explained.

A copy of the booklet titled Deshamunu Preminchumanna was distributed to the participants. The participants were also informed that they can freely download and read 7 booklets, published by POOLABATA, 2 in English and 5 in Telugu, from www.archive.org – please search for POOLABATA.

Each time the presentation is made, as a teacher, I ensure that right from the introduction to the development of the theme, it is done differently, the examples are appropriate to the audience, the language style, and the mixture of local language, some times with local accent, – an attempt is made to create a unique blend. This is being mentioned, so as to make it clear that you may not feel bored or disinterested, and by listening to two or more lectures on the same topic, presented before different audiences, at various places, you may actually obtain a better insight into the scope of the topic.

It is humbly suggested that you may please use the power point presentations, freely. Please feel free to refer to these websites to your friends and motivate them to become better, continuously. Please help me to spread the motivating message to as many people as possible.

Your feedback will be highly appreciated : Viswam.vangapally@gmail.com .
