Why use AdKreator?
AdKreator is an easy to use system, unlike any other program on the net today.

Let's jump right into making your first splash page!
Designing your own splash page -
To get started, you'll need to select a template for your design. You can reach
this area in two ways... either the “Browse Templates” in the menu on the right,
or the icon in the “Quick Start Panel” on your main member's page.
Once you've clicked this... you'll be taken to the template Warehouse...
You can choose from splashpages, buttons, banners, peel away ads, login ads,
squeeze pages and headers for your website.
Each type of design is basically the same... so once we go through the basics of
splash pages... you'll be able to follow these steps to design *everything*!
So... underneath the heading “Splashpages”.... you'll see this:
Justin and Ray add more pages and content every Tuesday... so this may not
be exactly what you'll see on your screen. I'll give you an example of each
section shown here.
These are the basic backgrounds of your designs... like this:
Splash Pages (full design) -
Let's start with the full design. This will be the fastest way to get started, if
you're just starting out. You can get a feel for what a page should look like, so
you can design your own later.
Choose a template....
I chose the first one. You'll see at the top, there are some buttons.
Say we wanted to promote All About Traffic Exchanges. We can easily do that
with AdKreator. Click on the Shark Frenzy Graphic shown, and delete it. Then,
choose “Clip Art”.
Then, choose the “eCovers” category... and you'll see the All About Traffic
Exchanges ecover. (along with many others!)
That's the only graphic we have... so now we can work on the text.
When you click on one of the blocks of text... you'll see the little “handles”
around them. This lets you know which block is selected, and they let you
resize the block if you need to.
Once you have the text selected, click the “Edit” Tab, and then the “Text”
This box will popup, with the text you selected. You can change the text, font,
font size and color.
If you need to move it around your screen.. you can use the top bar to drag it.
We've chosen the headline... since Justin set this up perfectly, we won't need to
change the color, or font... we'll just change the words. Let's use “Confused
about Traffic Exchanges?”
Just type that into the Text Options box and click the “Add” button.
As you can see, it's off center. We can use the “handles” to make it bigger, or
click on the text block, to center it on the page.
I made the headline bigger, so it would stand out more, and changed the “Sub-
headline”... keeping the same font and color.
The arrow is pointing to a bullet point... that we can find in the “Shapes”
section. (tho I'm not sure why it's there... but it is)
To make more bullet points... I clicked the color box, which dropped down a
larger color box. I can change the color with either the slider on the right... or
by moving the bubble... or a more exact color is to use the code at the bottom.
In this case, it's 004e66.
Another way to make the exact duplicate of the objects, is to use the
Here, it made another one... and we can move it where ever we want.
I've added the text, and more bullet points... now all I have to do it take silly
Justin's name off the bottom....
The way he got it to rotate... or not be completely horizontal, was by using the
A change that I made... was the put a drop shadow on the headline, by clicking
the Drop Shadow button.
A window pops up, and there are a lot of stuff you can change... so play with
it, to see what you like best. I, on the other hand, am too scared I'll mess
something up... so I just leave it as is, and click the “Add” button.
In the editor, there's also a “Layers” option.
Here I've moved the ebook cover, to be on top of the headline...
Since it's on top of the headline... I click the “down” button, and can get it
“underneath” the writing. It may take a few clicks... depending on how much
you have on your page.
Opacity button -
If you want one of the objects to show lighter than usual, you can use this
This is how our ecover is shown at 100% Opacity....
We can lower it by moving the bar to the left, and the cover is not as visible.
Then just click the “Add” button.
When we're through... we can save it.
A box will pop up, and ask you what you want to call your kreation. Name it
whatever you want... and choose which file format you want it saved in. Either
JPG, GIF or PNG. If you don't know the difference, that's okay.. just save it as
JPG... and click “Save Banner”
Here's where your designs are saved.
Click on our image....
We'll go through each part of this..
This shows you the details about your kreation, and you can click the link to see
your design in full size.
When you click “Edit Design” you'll be taken back to your editor... so you can
make whatever changes you need.
Delete Design of course... is if you want to completely delete the image.
Download Splashpage is for those who have their own hosting... you can
download the page, and upload it to your own server.
Or.. you can have it hosted by us... just by using the Splashpage Link provided.
You can show off your new design in Twitter or Facebook
When I click the Twitter button,
I enter my Twitter username and password...
and it lets me know that the tweet has been sent!
And my Facebook page!
You can also connect your page to a “Dynamic Traffic Exchange Greeting”...
The system will know what Traffic Exchange you're using, and add a “Wait!
Surfer” message to the top of your kreation.
Your Direct Link URL -
This is where you want the user to go once they've clicked your image. It
defaults to AdKreator... so don't forget to fill this out! Be sure to click the ADD
button when you're done.
There are also statistics you can use to see which ads are more effective.
Background Color -
The background is very powerful in getting people's attention.
By default, it's set at white.. which is #FFFFFF. Click the color wheel, to see
your other choices.
I've changed mine to yellow. But.. there are a few things I need to do first.
I'll click the apply button, of course.
Then I need to go back and edit the design.
This is where the background is set... see the bright yellow border? That means
it's in place. Then, when we save it...
Yes... it's very VERY yellow!
Traffic Report -
This will be available if you use our URL for showing your site.
You can see how many time your page has been seen by others, and how many
clicks it received. Use this to determine which page is getting you the best
Now.. this is just the tip of the iceberg... there are many many more things you
can do with AdKreator... headers, banners, peel away ads. Upgraded members
can even make squeeze pages! All hosted by AdKreator.
