A WONDERFUL WORLD If we could consider each other A neighbour a friend or a brother It would be a wonderful, wonderful world It would be a wonderful world...(CHORUS)   If each little kid had fresh milk each day If each old soul had some place to stay If each working man had enough time to play It would be a wonderful world...(CHORUS)   If there were no poor and the rich were content If strangers were welcome wherever they went If each of us knew what true brotherhood meant It would be a wonderful world...(CHORUS)   If people all over would trust one another Not thinking about their race or their colour If they did agree to join hands altogether It would be a wonderful world...(CHORUS)   If Tablers of India can properly plan To do for their country whatever they can If FELLOWSHIP brings about SERVICE to man It would be a wonderful world...(CHORUS)   Oh Boy! Tr. Deepak M Menda Area Chairman’s Message
Area Chairman’s Message Dear Friends, Wow... Greetings!!!! It’s been an amazing journey thru the year. One thing that I’ve loved is, travelling to the events in Area 9 and RTI. Today I can say that I’ve made many friends and friends for life. Thru the year, we’ve tried to maintain a mix and cover all the facets of tabling. Fellowship and Projects being the mainstay for Area 9. Many other plans could not be taken to its logical conclusion. The year started off with the auspicious “Iftaar Party” which has become the tradition since the last 3 years. I thank the hosts for coming forward year on year and hosting this Area event. Area 9 is probably the only Area which has Area Events and that to so many ... SUPER In fellowship we’ve had a memorable event one after the other, Iftiar Party, Oktoglam, Mini Olympics, A day at the Races, 3B Fellowship, RBL Cricket Tournament, Kites Social, Cricket World Cup Finals, Hyderabad to Goa and finally the AU REVOIR. I would like to thank the Tables and Tablers who have come forward to host these events. Not to forget, the Area initiatives to reach the floor tabler was thru the SMS Gateway effectively used for Birthday & Wedding Anniversary reminders of Tablers, Ladies and also the Area Events. The convenors, Tr Raghu & Tr Ravindra have done a remarkable job in co-ordinating and facilitating these events. Also, this year we’ve had the land mark meetings, 900 for SRT 33, 700 for VRT 68, 600 for GRT 86, 500 for SMART 118 & 300 for START 148. CONGRATULATIONS.
Area Chairman’s Message (Cont’d) Two other events were the Charter of the Viking and the Inauguration of the Vizag Knights. Congratulations RT 77 & RT 213. I welcome RT 213 & RT Vizag Knights to this wonderful movement of Round Table. The 9th Area AGM hosted by 118, shall always be remembered by all who attended-thanks JP & team. The MTM, one of the best I’ve attended in my tabling career was hosted by RT 68 & LC 52. Thank you once again for giving Area 9 a wonderful time. Not to forget the performance put in by the kids was the best. Thank you Tr Sampath, Chairman Satish and all at 68 & LC 52. One other memorable trip I will never forget, is the trip I took with the Area 9 cricket team. I urge each one of you not to miss a similar opportunity, if u ever get one. In Projects, Area 9 has always been strong. This year too, we’ve constructed schools and completed projects worth INR 148 lakhs. I remember I was packing to attend the 9th AGM of Area 9 and I got a call from a Sq Leg who has always been passionate about Projects, who said that he would like to contribute Rs 5000/- to each class room constructed in Area 9 for the year. What more can a Chairman ask for? Thank you Jeetu Bhai, its people like you whose support pushes us to build more and more schools. A special mention of the 116 operations done by 77 under “First Smile” for the cleft lip palettes, this is a unique project cause its not covered under any government subsidies or programs. One event which always touches the hearts of the tabling fraternity is the “Taare Zameen Par” program that we continued this year too. I did see so many tablers, sq legs, ladies and children take out time and come for this event. Here again I would like to thank Sq Leg Jeetu Bhai and the Twinklers Convenor Vicky for making the event a success.
Area Chairman’s Message (Cont’d) At 77 we have another special program that touches everyone’s heart and that is the “Parents Day”. I wish someday the whole of Area 9 gets an opportunity to host it. Here 77 takes an opportunity to showcase all the Tables achievements to the parents of each and every one associated with 77. You can see the pride in the eyes of every parent who attends this program knowing their child is contributing to the society. Congratulations 77 on this remarkable event year on year. Our HRD Mentor Sq Leg Sudhir Nair has put in all the efforts to give us the best HRD’s. Area 9 has completed the PTBAT for the Tables of Hyderabad, Vizag [77, 213 & Knights]. We did try to have one in Vijayawada & Guntur. One of the highlight for the year was that 5 tablers [Tr Sajja Ravindra, Tr Sandeep Chowdhary, Tr Umesh Padia, Tr Karthik Agarwal & Tr Rajeev Doshi] attended the National Leadership Conclave in Bangalore. Am sure that they are ready to add value and take Area 9 forward. “I Am Gifted” a special 5 day program for the Twinklers was conducted by Sq Leg Sudhir, Sq Leg Satish and Mrs Priya (thank u guys). You should hear from the parents to believe how this program can actually benefit your child. If you ever get a chance, do send your teenager to this program. A total of 28 children have already benefited from the tabling fraternity benefited from this program. Extension: Did you know, that Area 9 is now 15 tables strong? Yes, in the last 2 years, we’ve had 3 extensions in Area 9, one in Hyderabad by HPRT 183 and 2 in Vizag. Both the sponsors were VRT 77 and in one 77 did a joint extension with 213. A back-to-back for 77, and, one extension for 213 in the first year of their charter. Today Area 9 stands @ 252 tablers. The report presented in the Annual Report by Tr Naveen is also a very detailed one, where he explains the strength of each Table at the end of 2 years from now. In Publicity, Round Table was very well covered in all forms of media. The Golf tournament by 189 and the Earth Hour by 77 & 213 were the ones which were a class apart. Good work Team 189, 77 & 213.
Area Chairman’s Message (Cont’d) The Web site for Area 9 has been launched & Blog was given a total face lift, all the credit goes to the hard work put in by Tr Vishnu Dantu. Publicity, Greeting Cards, Supply House and all the other facets of tabling too were focussed on. I also did have the opportunity to travel and represent Area 9 in the NEX’s, and indeed it was an experience. I would like to thank President Vivek, the National Head Table and the entire TOGETHER TEAM for all the support rendered. I would like to thank the entire Area 9, tablers, circlers, ladies, sq legs and the children for their support and will look forward for their continued support. I remember most of the past Area Chairmen always insisting on staying at tablers house while we travel. I did take this advice. It’s indeed a wonderful opportunity and experience. Thanks guys for having hosted me. Today I realise the value of this advice. My Area Board was a super support thru the year, thank you guys. Special thanks to Sudhanshu, Siddharth, Kishore and Sudhir Anna. My HT’s on the Board, HT Ravi Pansari and HT Ajay, thanks a tonne for the moral support. The Advisor to the Board Tr Bhavesh and also the Table Talk Editor, it was a pleasure working with him again. I would also thank the tables of vizag [92, 213 & the knights] who have been a great support to me. My home table 77, what can I say!!! Thank you for everything. I always run short of words when it comes to thanking each one of you in 77, the tablers, sq legs, the ladies and the children.i’m lucky and proud that I belong to a very VIBRANT table like 77.
Area Chairman’s Message (Cont’d) My mentor Hari anna, whose words of motivation have helped me reach where I’m today.Without his constant support and encouragement I would never have embarked on this journey. For me both Hari Anna and Aanand have been like elder brothers. I shall always cherish this relationship. If I’ve missed on thanking anybody, it is because of sheer oversight and not intentional. I would like to thank my family & friends for all the love and support. Without them the year would have been impossible. To my kids and my wife Sukreeta now it shall be more family time. God bless Area 9... Keep rocking....  Cheers!!!! Yours forever in tabling,   Tr Deepak M Menda, Chairman, Area 9

Tr. Vivek Vardhan Prasad IPP/IRO
IPP/IRO Message Friends, Warm Greetings and heartiest congratulations to all of you for having completed an extremely successful year in tabling. Area 9 and all the tables have performed extremely well this year in all facets of tabling. On the Projects front, a wonderful job done by all. On the FTE front, One stand out example being the Mehboobia School Project of SRT 33. Absolutely amazing. And this is not only because of the size of the project, one of the biggest in RTI, or the tremendous publicity it received. For all those tablers who have not visited this school project, it is a must see. It is a complex project undertaken and successfully completed. In fact the access way to the project site itself is very tricky with an existing Heritage building in the front and no passage way. The entire workforce, material movement had to be transported through a narrow 3 foot corridor, and also the construction equipment had to be dismantled, hand carried in through the corridor and reassembled at the site. A Herculean task. All this proves the resilience and the passion which the tablers had for completing the school project, against all odds.
IPP/IRO Message (Cont’d)  On the non FTE front, The TZP event in Hyderabad, where about 300 special children took part, again is the single largest event under the TZP banner. Special mention of ‘Project Smile’ of VRT 77. The goodwill earned by our organization, whenever a beneficiary looks at himself/herself in the mirror, is for life.        Also special mention of the annual cricket event for the Vision impaired by HART 134. The emotions displayed by those children as they compete, and the joy and despair when they win or lose are some things that will remain forever etched in your mind if you are lucky to be a part of the event with them.   On the fellowship front, Need anything be said about Area 9?  You are actually the pioneers in having socials open to the entire Area, and wonderful themed ones at that. Your ‘Kites at Night’, ‘A Day at the Races’, ‘Iftaar’ Party, ‘Oktoglam’, a few examples of now annual events eagerly looked forward to by all. All of this apart from the fellowship enjoyed by all tables as is usual. Phew. :) But the icing on the cake this year, which I was unfortunate to have missed, and am told by those who attended that it was THE BEST EVER, your MTM ‘Bezawada Galata’.
IPP/IRO Message (Cont’d) On the extension front, a flurry of activity.   Vizag is now growing leaps and bounds. Congratulations to the Vikings on their Charter and a very warm welcome to the Knights. The enthusiasm and the vibrancy in Vizag is simply amazing.    Eagerly looking forward to a similar situation in Guntur and Vijayawada as well, at the earliest.   On the LAPD front, ‘I am Gifted’ is an absolutely fantastic program. Congratulations for having conducted it. I just hope that it could be rolled out to the rest of RTI as well.   On the publicity front excellent work by HDRT 189 staging their annual RTI Golf Championship, Also wonderful work by the youngest, Vikings 213 for their Earth Hour event. On the administration front this year was a Landmark year for Area 9. 300th meeting of START 148, 500th meeting of SMART 118, 600th meeting of GRT 86, 700th meeting of VRT 68, and the 900th meeting of SRT 33.
IPP/IRO Message (Cont’d)  Congratulations to all of them and wish them many more wonderful landmarks ahead.  Area Chairman Deepak, Your leadership this past year has taken Area 9 forward, positively and with intent. And this with great bonding, friendship and fellowship. Congratulations to you, AST Kishore, and your entire team for a wonderful year in office.    Great job gentlemen.  Best Wishes to AVC Karan, and team Area 9 for an even better year next year.    Together We Can And Together We Will   Keep Round Table India Smiling and Shining in its Golden Year.   Warm regards, Tr. Vivek IPP/IRO, RTI

All have excelled in their respective facets shows great encouragement from the Area. I have enjoyed my term as your National Secretary Treasurer. Going through communication, minutes, reports and more. In all honesty, I did have difficulty catching up at times, going through and responding to minutes and reports! However I have tried my level best to respond within a reasonable time frame. Having now taken over as your National Vice President, I seek your support, your feedback and encouragement in leading Round Table India in due course. I request each and every Tabler to feel free to connect to me, with ideas and suggestion from time to time. I will try my level best to take them forward. IPC/IRO Message Tablers of the vibrant A9...Greetings from your IPC/IRO! The year 2010-11 has been wonderful under the stewardship of our Chairman Tr.DeepakMenda. It was my pleasure and pride to witness Area 9 shining and soaring new highs as we went through an exciting and rocking year. Great work done by the whole team, especially the table Chairmen, Secretaries and the entire head board of A9. To report on the IRO front, we had a few tablers going global and connecting with other tablers across continents, RT 148 taking the lead with its tablers travelling the most. Tr. GautamRao from 189 also travelled extensively and connected with tablers in Europe. Twinning of tables and joint activities at the international level were also given an impetus this year. AST Kishore was also present at the Srilanka RT 1,2 and 3 AGMs and also attended the RT Srl Lanka AGM along with the RT Asia Pacific AGM at colombo. It was a momentous occasion as RT183 and RT33 went on to win the highest honours at the AsiaPac awards. The most important and exciting news as shared already is that for the first time, RTI will be hosting the next Round Table International World Meet (WM '12) at Hyderabad in September 2012. It would a great opportunity for us to showcase the wonderful, warm Area 9 hospitality and also gain tremendous recognition. Non active tablers of the association may attend the annual general meeting upon special invitation from the chairman, but shall not take part in discussions nor will have voting rights. EXPLANATION:  RTI AGM - Table level, Area level or National level is a forum for active tablers to discuss the state of affairs and carry on their official duties. Any non tablers are invited guests who have no say on the way the meeting is conducted or the way RTI is run.   Any discussion during the AGM should be restricted to active tablers only (either delegates or floor tablers). It is observed over the years that AGMs are controlled/ guided / hijacked by non tablers resulting in loss of opportunity to the tablers and  tabling movement in building leadership.  Non Tablers  (especially 41ers and Sq Legs) have had their share of running the tabling movement and it is essential they let the Tablers run the tabling movement and allow natural leadership to emerge Election of the Office Bearers for the year 2009-2010 RT 33 Proposed amendment to the motion and was seconded by RT 189 RT 189 Proposed amendment to the amended motion and was seconded by RT 33  The Amendment was carried Minutes of the 9th AGM of Area 9 , held on 28th and 29th of August 2010, at Hotel Park, Hyderabad (Cont’d)

Annexure 2: Area 9 Chairman,2009-2010, Tr.Sudanshu Shah’s speech Good Afternoon Everyone, I feel really blessed and happy today …and each one of you sitting here has given me that reason to smile  Before I start off with my speech…my gyan … and my experiences, I would like to narrate a small incident which happened a few days back ….one gentlemen…a tabler… approached me and asked me a question…he told me that this whole year you have been harping-on about a united Area 9… one-ness, togetherness…positive vibes etc., and you seem to believe that you have achieved it… He said… that such thoughts are very nice…but then they are just that …’thoughts’. All these things don’t really work in reality. He said that if today I am feeling that this year has been solid on solidarity…then it’s only my belief ….it can never and will never happen with the profile and individual interests of the varied people we have in our movement…their individual aspirations…the one-up-manship… He just went on and on about how un-cooperative and rigid people can be…he said its seen everywhere…in corporates, in clubs…and believe me, this gentlemen (who I am referring to) cited so many examples of individuals that ultimately I did not have any answer to his claims and doubts, .So I thought its best that I invite him today and ask him to speak to you directly…he’s waiting outside the door and I would like to call him inside… …… Mr. Thomas… welcome Sir…. Friends, tablers, gentlemen…How could you even for a moment believe that such a person can exist… I personally and strongly believe that such a person doesn’t exist and can never exist…there is no place in this movement for such Doubting Thomases. Minutes of the 9th AGM of Area 9 , held on 28th and 29th of August 2010, at Hotel Park, Hyderabad (Cont’d)
Not for a second can we doubt, the kind of cohesiveness and strength-in-unity that we have witnessed in this Area this year… and if any one of you has ever doubted that such unity can happen and can last…I request you keep aside this skepticism…… and Believe – ,[object Object]
Believe… in our own goodness and capability AND of those around you
Believe… in the transparency of thought and communication
Believe… in empowering people such that they refuse to indulge in negativity or pessimism
Believe… that if today is good…the future is going to be better.
AND also Believe that you have a role in thatAll through my life and more so in tabling this year …I have found immense value in placing my faith in these simple beliefs. These beliefs have been the underlying fabric of the unity and one-ness that we set out to achieve this year and have been the spirit behind all our actions. Not only have these been shared by each and every table Chairman & Convenor on the Area Board with me, I presume each and every tabler of this wonderful Area has felt them too. We, the team 2009-10, strongly believed that every tabler, whether he is from Hyderabad…Vizag…Guntur ...Vijayawada ...has the right to enjoy what this movement offers...and that we can all co exist and enjoy with the right zeal, spirit and participation. And this past year, I have seen all the tables in this Area, come together as ONE for every facet of tabling exhibiting such positive vibes….the kind of zeal and enthusiasm that I have witnessed compels me to say that ’Impossible is nothing’. Minutes of the 9th AGM of Area 9 , held on 28th and 29th of August 2010, at Hotel Park, Hyderabad (Cont’d)
If you all sitting out there think that we were able to achieve what we set out to achieve or have at least made a beginning towards it …a United A9 …then…can I hear it loud…are we one for all and all for one… Ladies & Gents…This loud ‘yes’ is dedicated to my team, the vibrant team of 2009-10…they deserve all the accolades. If today…there is something that I have learnt from my year as the Area Chairman, it is this one-ness of purpose, working together for a common dream and a sense of achievement that tabling teaches you. National Observer and IPP Himanshu, NST Vineet, AVC Deepak, AST Sid, IPC Bhavesh, Tablers, Sq.Legs and the gorgeous Ladies of our wonderful Area 9,     As the Chairman Area 9, 2009-10, I thank you all for giving me this opportunity to serve this great movement and I hope to have proven worthy of your trust and respect. Taking on this role and my wonderful experiences this past year have been like an extraordinary journey that I would never want to end. I have savoured every bit of it as it has strengthened my belief in the value of this movement, it has taught me something new everyday and more than anything else, it has made me new friends every step of the way. The driving thought for the year was to continue with the basic culture of tabling and also try to bring in some novel ideas. What resulted was a culmination of basic tabling thoughts and some modern, exemplary initiatives. Minutes of the 9th AGM of Area 9 , held on 28th and 29th of August 2010, at Hotel Park, Hyderabad (Cont’d)
At the start of the year, we said to ourselves… Dreams work. And we saw them work this year. The year started off on a really enthusiastic note for me and my team with a pre-AEX meets…this very first meeting itself, which was to act as a warm-up, brain-storming and planning session set the stage for the camaraderie and oneness that the A9 team felt all through the year. It has indeed been a very satisfying experience for me to have worked with such an enthusiastic, committed and hard-working bunch of fellow tablers this year. Each and every table has exhibited amazing energy and the level of contribution has been immense this year. If today we can say Area 9 Shines…it is due to this combined and earnest effort put in by each and every one of you. Area 9 shines in a BIG way this year…we have seen the biggest projects, the biggest publicity drives, the biggest fellowships, the biggest fundraisers, the biggest socials…and then we grew bigger with not one but two Table extensions. We also saw the amazing big-heartedness of our tablers as the Area and RTI came together to provide flood relief in AP in whatever manner possible. Not only did we have our Area level events, A9 also proudly hosted the Full-Toss Cricket Finals, the ‘Aa Dekhe Zara’ National Final and the 4th NEX too. The kind of scale and magnitude we have displayed in organizing these events, the warmth and hospitality that was shown and the painstaking efforts taken to ensure everything goes smoothly were indeed commendable. All I can say is ….they came, they saw, and we conquered their hearts! All that we have achieved has been possible only by the extraordinary involvement and unstinted support of the entire team of wonderful table Chairmen and energetic Convenors. I think that working with such a GREAT TEAM has been MY biggest motivation factor. Minutes of the 9th AGM of Area 9 , held on 28th and 29th of August 2010, at Hotel Park, Hyderabad (Cont’d)
As we move forward…and its time for handing over the mantle, it makes me really glad that I shall be passing the baton to my good friend Deepak. Under his able leadership, I am sure it will be another great year and A9 shall touch new highs. I wish Deepak and his team a fantastic year. With their ‘Togetherness Mantra’, let us enjoy each and every day with the A9 family and look forward to ‘endless’ togetherness always.    As Area 9 grows from strength to strength in the coming years, it is my ardent hope that my able AEX Team members and I have been able to leave a memorable mark in your hearts and minds. Tr. Kishore Kumar Secretary's Report
Secretary's Report Dear Friends, Warm Greetings!!! As I look back at my year as the Area Secretary Treasurer of the ever “Rocking” Area 9 , I feel it was just yesterday when I took over this mantle from my dear friend Tr. Dr. Siddharth Karan. Area 9 rocked in all facets of tabling, from Fellowship to Projects , from Community Service activities to HR. I would like to mention here that my year as the AST would not have been as smooth as it was without the support of the secretaries of the Tables. Almost all the secretaries were prompt in sending the minutes and quarterly reports and were also very responsive to my calls and emails. My Secretary gang ROCKED!!! I thank Tr. Bhavesh and our Chartered Accountants of Area 9 M/s R G & Associates, who helped me in completing this report. Last but not the least I thank Area 9 Chairman Tr. Deepak Manoo Mendda and the entire Area Board for always being there for me and supporting me at all times. I would like to conclude my report with a quote that I had read somewhere. “Dreams pass into the reality of action. From the actions stems the dream again”. We dreamt last year , we rocked this year , we will smile and shine the next and we sure will dream and rock again!!! Tr. Kishore Kumar Area Secretary Treasurer , Area 9, 2010-2011

Annual Fellowship Report of Area 9 2010-11 The fellowship at area 9 to put it in a single word had been “ROCKING ” in the tabling year 2010-11 The year started off with fabulous AGMs of all the tables in area 9. Quite a few tables had their AGMs outside India. Then came the mother of all AGMs the “9 SHINES ”the 9th Area 9 AGM, it was amazing time for bonding, and an opportunity for a great fellowship!!! Area Fellowship Initiatives: Birthday cards were sent regularly by the AEX on behalf of the entire floor of the area to each and every tabler on his birthday and anniversary and the birthdays of their spouses. A special SMS gateway called “TOGETHER ” has been created which is intimated all the tablers across area 9 about whose birthday or anniversary it is everyday starting from the 1st of September. This gateway was also used to intimate the tablers about all the area level fellowship events, on a daily basis. “SPIN THE SPOON ” – was followed by quite a number of tables across the area. (This is a special initiative to promote more bonds among tablers from an individual table. Each fellowship convener of all the tables was handed over a specially made wooden spoon with a specially made keychain. This spoon is spinned with all the tablers sitting around it and whomever the spoon points to takes the spoon with him for the next 15 days. He now has to invite a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 6 couples to his home for a one on one interaction either over breakfast, lunch, tea or dinner. If he fails to do so, the entire table now has all the right to ransack his house at anytime. At the end of the 15 days, he keeps the keychain that is attached to the spoon and the spoon is spinned again.)

9th Area 9 AGM Convener Report It was touted to be an affair to remember….and it was an affair which shall be. The 9th Area 9 AGM – “Nine Shines” was all about celebrating our glorious 9 years gone by and we did just that. The Hotel Park, overlooking the majestic Hussain Sagar lake, played the perfect venue for an event of such a great magnitude and what ensued over those 2 days was pure bonding and fellowship. 104 rooms booked with participation from all the tabling centers of Area 9 with 360 registrations….WOW!!! The AGM sessions went on sans any excitement but the Informal night blew everyone’s mind away. Live performances by Shane and his troupe had the crowd swinging and the MIXERS by Ami Shroff had all swaying to a different beat…the liquor was on the house and we made sure that all present brought the house down… The Personalised Name Pin handed over to all the Tablers was hugely appreciated and the magazine (HELLO RTI) meant to act as a Publicity tool for Round Table India made for a nice read. A special thanks to our Sponsor’s Jaguar, Riedel, Deccan Chronicle, Sound Room and Weber for their unconditional support throughout the event and last but not the least… A huge THANKS to each and every tabler of Area 9 for being a part of "Nine Shines" and giving us memories to last a lifetime. Special thanks to my team SMART 118.     LMF. Tr. Jitendra Prasad B 9th Area 9 AGM Convener

MTM Convenor Report MTM Bezawada GALATA , Jan 29th’ 2011. An amazing event for the bonding that was shared at Area 9 this year was “Bezwada Galata”. It was on my birthday and a couple of bottles of scotch later that all of us zeroed in on the theme “ Bezawada Galata”. Those who were present on the ‘D’ day knew what Galata meant - an evening of great ‘Fun Friendship Fellowship’. We had umpteen number of fellowships in the days leading to the MTM. The tablers came forward very enthusiastically to take up the convenorships and we had a lot of support from our tablers, circlers and twinklers which finally translated into a rocking event. In order to give the event a personal touch and we being a family organization we planned all the performances to be done by the family of Vijayawada Round Table. All of us met many a time for the dance practice sessions, and to plan and co ordinate the different aspects of the event right down to the smallest detail. As we wanted to move away from regular routine we decided to conduct the event @ Mango Bay – a lush, green property owned by our Sq Lg Manny Lamba. It is a property situated away from Vijayawada surrounded on all sides by mango gardens. It served as the perfect back drop for the galata we had in mind.
MTM Convenor Report (Cont’d) Finally, on the big day a fantastic festive atmosphere was created in a village setup with wooden cots, matkas, campfire, kallu paka, masseurs, etc. The tablers in white khadi, circlers in cotton sarees and twinklers in mass outfits added to the flavour of the evening. We had a couple of dance performances by our twinklers which were absolutely phenomenal and received rapturous applause from one and all. The circlers also put together a couple of dance numbers and enthralled everyone with a scintillating performance. In between the performances the visiting tablers and circlers participated in the games conducted. The Area Chairman Tr Deepak and the Area Vice Chairman Tr Siddarth Karan got caught up in the mood of the evening and were rocking for a couple of numbers and games on the stage. The show stopper of the evening was the anchoring done by Sq lg Balu and Cr Sanjatha. Finally the bezawada rowdies rocked the evening with a dance performance to a medley of mass songs.
MTM Convenor Report (Cont’d) We also had the national prelims for the Antakshari at Area level which was won by Tr Nikhil and Cr Neha of VRT 68. At the end everyone shook a leg and showed off their dancing skills to the foot tapping music played by the DJ till the wee hours of the morning. A wide variety of mouth watering traditional Andhra Cuisine was served piping hot till the last. Right from the Punugu and Bajji served upon entering the venue to the Royala Gongura and Mamidikai Pappu the traditional fare was appreciated by one and all.
MTM Convenor Report (Cont’d) I take this opportunity to thank all my fellow tablers, circlers, twinklers, past tablers and circlers, whose help and support made this mountain of a task seem so easy. I also thank the management of the hotel D V Manor for the extraordinary hospitality support extended to us for making this event a roaring success. I thank the Area Chairman Tr Deepak for the faith he had in us to give everyone a memorable MTM. Finally, but not the least I also thank my Co-Convenor Tr.Vinay who was there with me right from the beginning till the end in making this event a successful one. In Tabling, Tr. Sampath Kumar MTM Convenor

Tr. Giridhar Rao Corporate Alliance
Corporate Alliance - Report As per discussions at National Board, the Corporate spends on their CSR Activities are around 3000 cr for one year. Whereas RTI is not attracting even 0.1% of the total spends done by the Top 500 corporates on CSR activities in India. Clearly there is a need for a much greater interaction with corporates.   So as per the guide lines from NEX, We at AREA9 has to reach at least Top 200 Corporate companies in our Area with the support of Tables, This can be done Thru tables by evaluating the corporate contacts in their cities and pursue the same with the presentations. National Board has put the efforts and come on with an Agreements with P&G and INFINITY.   This year P&G has deposited more than 3 Cr in the Round Table trust, which has to be utlized only for FTE Projects where in each project is eligible for 6 lakhs only.   Thanks & Regards Tr. • 3. It would be a wonderful world. RTI Song

  • 11. Tr. Deepak M Menda Area Chairman’s Message

  • 27. Tr. Vivek Vardhan Prasad IPP/IRO
  • 31. IPP/IRO Message (Cont’d)  Congratulations to all of them and wish them many more wonderful landmarks ahead.  Area Chairman Deepak, Your leadership this past year has taken Area 9 forward, positively and with intent. • 35. Let's all rise once again to the challenge and deliver the best ever World Meet RT International has ever seen. • 59.

Quite a few tables had their AGMs outside India. Then came the mother of all AGMs the “9 SHINES ”the 9th Area 9 AGM, it was amazing time for bonding, and an opportunity for a great fellowship!!!

  • 93. 9th Area 9 AGM Convener Report It was touted to be an affair to remember….and it was an affair which shall be.

  • 98. Twinkler Convenor Report- Area 9-2010-11 (Cont’d) Dear Friends, At the outset, I would like to thank Area Chairman Deepak for giving me the opportunity to be a part of the event, “Taare Zameen Par”, because this is one event which is very close to my heart. I guess it is everybody’s.. Frankly, I had mixed emotions when Deepak asked me to be the best man for this event, since there are so many things to look after. The Stationery, the gifts n of course special care of the students. Fortunately, I did agree and now I look back and remember it as one of my most memorable moments in Tabling. But all this would not have been possible without the team of my buddies. I would like to take this opportunity and thank Tr. Manish Gupta & Tr. Karthik, for all their encouragement and support. Cr. Pooja Khaitan for being the star of the day, friends without her support, we actually could not have achieved what we actually did. And lastly, I would like to thank Sq. Leg Jitinder Singh, who is known for his love for children. His zeal and enthusiasm for this is to be seen to be believed. Jitu Bhai…..u simply ROCK!!!!!! A glimpse of the feelings of my friends and some picture below are surely true picture of the satisfaction of being present for such a beautiful event.

  • 155. Tr. Giridhar Rao Corporate Alliance
  • 156. Giridhar Corporate Alliance Convener, RTI-AREA IX
