  • 2. Blended Teaching & Learning
    • I teach students in a face to face classroom and provide them with my content in a wiki.
    • There are three wikis I use:
      • WikiEducator (more recently)
      • One in Moodle
      • One I host myself ( http://www.virtualmv.com/wiki )
      • On the following slides I will show some examples of how I use wikis in my teaching
  • 3. Moodle
    • On the Moodle wiki (which is only available to students enrolled in Moodle), I get my students to:
      • Organise themselves into groups
      • List topics for presentations (avoids the same topic being chosen)
      • Make lists of useful links
  • 4. My wiki
    • Uses the same "engine" as WikiEducator (called MediaWiki)
  • 5. My Wiki - in a Lecture
