    • Page Strategy  Get help with design. Your Page represents your business 24/7 and it is ADVERTISING! A small investment with a professional to make sure it’s set up professionally will payoff. You can also use “Page Builders” but even those can look clunky if you are not a designer.  Page Name cannot be changed once you reach 100 LIKES. Be careful with spelling and spacing capitalization. Add a few keywords or location to describe business so people can find via search engines.     • Page Strategy  Use the correct Category. The INFO tab changes depending on your category. Don’t choose Local if you can work globally or don’t have set hours of operation. Select a few to see which works best for your info. Experiment with setup to choose the best options for your biz!  Choose Admins carefully. Keep top level access for yourself, give them limited access. Always keep brand under YOUR control.     • Setup Your Page Correctly  You may decide to create a PAGE for your business.  Plan your strategy for how you will be interacting between your Personal & Page before creating.  Log into your Personal Profile to create. (recommended) or create a separate Business account if you do not already have an account (not really recommended and you can’t do this if you already have an account!)  You can have multiple PAGES (not PROFILES!)  Increase fans with Social Ads, other online promotion & mentioning in-person.  Ask people if they have a PAGE – trade “LIKES”.     • Events  If you are invited to the event, take the time to respond AND post on the WALL – even it it’s a NO. Take a moment to be strategic and invite SPECIFIC contacts to the event – not everyone. Use this as a opportunity to touch base with your contacts.  If you are creating the event, fill out all of the fields and include a link to a website for more information. You can create an event from your PERSONAL account or your PAGE. You can then invite PERSONAL contacts easily, and promote to your PAGE fans via a message that doesn’t really get seen. Having business contacts in your friends list is really critical here. You can also invite people in a GROUP that you own.  Share Events on Facebook –  SELECT GUESTS TO INVITE - Strategically with the contacts you think would benefit most – NOT EVERYONE. A drop down will appear and you can move your mouse to select this.  This is useful to give references and help share someone’s info across your network.  You can also Tag a photo or video with a Person’s name or Page name if you are connected.  Don’t abuse either of these, it will come across like spam.
