Shahina Siddique
Shahina Siddiqui is Executive Director of the Islamic Social Services

Muslims, Muslim communities, and others in the fields of social services
and mental health; provide consultation and mediation for social
services and agencies dealing with Muslims; and establish an institute

In May 2006, Siddiqui filed another formal complaint of
racism against several Winnipeg Jewish community groups
who cosponsored the movie Obsession: Radical Islam's War
Against the West.

In February 2004, Siddiqui filed a formal complaint
under the "discriminatory signs and statements"
section of the Manitoba Human Rights Code against
B'nai Brith Canada.

Zaynab Al-Ghazali

Islamic state on earth at present, i.e., one
totally bound by the Shari`a and
implementing it fully; not even Pakistan
or Saudi Arabia qualifies to be called an
Islamic state in her view.

Dalia Mogahed

Dalia Mogahed, a veiled Egyptian American, will advise resident
Obama on prejudices and problems faced by Muslims. Many Arabs
hope it's a step toward reversing stereotyping.

"Dalia Mogahed is the best example of a successful Muslim woman.
She proves that the Muslim should be successful in all fields, at least
in [her] area of specialization," a commentator wrote on the website
of the independent daily Al Masry al Youm.

Dalia Mogahed, senior analyst and executive director of the
Gallup Center for Muslim Studies, was appointed this
month to Obama's Advisory Council on Faith-Based and
Neighborhood Partnerships.
