The process is a trade secret but essentially involves a cured polymer coating on the fabric fibres. This coating draws viral particles (and bacteria) into close contact and tears the outer layer of the organism – which then dies on exposure to air. The coating: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Is entirely safe to humans. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Cannot leach – its effectiveness lasts for the life of the fabric and will survive even washing or hot ironing. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Contains no heavy metals, fluoro chemicals, pesticides, nor nano-particles. </li></ul></ul>

Testing to AS/NZS 1716 Standard to P2 level. This Standard is similar to NIOSH N95 and European FFP-2 but with the added criterion of “facial fit”. All known or potential pandemic strains of influenza virus – including the contemporary H5N1 (Bird Flu) and H1N1 (Swine Flu) – are of the Influenza virus Type A.
