Transfer Students• What is a transfer student?• Reasons why there are transfer students• How transfer students are selected by schools
Upper and Lower Division Transfers• To be considered an upper division transfer student you will have to completed 60 or more transferable units• If the school is impacted then they may not be accepting any lower division applicants
CSU Monterey Bay• 3.0 GPA /1690 SAT• Average grant awarded $8,500• $6,000 Tuition• Business, Marine Biology, Psychology• 5,100 Students
CSU Channel Islands• 3.2 GPA / 1710 SAT• Average grant awarded $7,800• $6,300 Tuition• Biology, History, Sociology• 3,800 Students
College Analysis• Both are pretty similar, not expensive not hard to get into. The big difference to me is one is north and the other is south• I choose these two because they are close to home and because I hear good things about both of them• Both colleges have several majors I may be interested in and they both have relatively small populations
