2. _ Does the school recycle ?
Paper? Cans? Batteries?
Computer –cartridges? Etc……
We have different litter bins. We recycle cans and plastic in
the yellow bin, and in the green bins we recycle papers. In
our classroom we use a box for our used papers and
another box for reusing papers. Batteries and computer
carriges are rcycled in the teacher’s room

left open while the heating
is on?
We have a card “

save energy.
4. _ Does the school avoid the
use of aerosols in Art
lessons or by caretaking
staff?
We usually don´t
use aerosols in art
lessons, we only use
recycle materials to
make different
projects.
5. _ Does the school encourage
walking to school or cycling
to school?
In our school, we have a place to leave the bikes,
but the most of the people goes walking to our
school.

6. _ Do school toilets have
water-saving devices fitted?
Yes, we have water-saving devices in all our bathrooms to
save water.
7. Basically are environmental
issues discussed in lessons?
In English
lessons we
study the
enviroment
and the way of
saving our
planet, we
usually speak
about
enviroment in
science.
8. _Are there any notice-boards
displayed in the classrooms
or along the corridors?
We have different noticeboards
around the school with posters
about environment.
9. _ Are there any exhibitions or
special guests to talk about
Sustainable Development ?
Every year different special
guests come to school to
talk about how we can take
care of our planet.

10. _ At the canteen, do you
ever have special eco-meals?
Yes, every day we
have different salads,
fish and some typical
spanish food like:
lentils, paellas,
spanish ommelette,
vegetables…
You can also eat
desserts like:
yoghurts,
macedonians and
fresh fruit.
11. _ Do you grow eco vegetables
or plants?
Yes, we have a grove
with some vegetables.
We grow: peppers,
beans, tomatoes and
marrows. This grove is
cultivated by the teacher,
Juan Cánovas and the
3rd Secondary students
of diversification.
12. We presented an ecology project and
won a prize as an Ecology School
because we are very proud of recycling,
saving water and use solar energy.
