    • Enterprise Community Internship Program(ECIP)
      work. grow. learn. serve. achieve.
    • Indiana Brain Drain.
46.6% of recent college graduates leave the state annually.
Only 28% of Indiana’s workers in the prime age work group of 25-34 have college degrees. This compares to 39% nationally.
By 2025 60% of Indiana’s workforce will have to hold college degrees for the Indiana economy to stay productive.
    • ECIP GOAL.
Reverse the Indiana Brain Drain by:
      Increasing Internship Opportunities in Indiana
Connect students with Community Service, IWU Alumni Mentors, and local church
internship + community connection to Indiana
      Increased Graduate Retention

We help students find internships working alongside experts in their field and get a glimpse of professional life.
We are seeking Employer Partners to accept these high achieving students into their internship programs.
    • learn.
Students learn from an IWU alumnus mentor who is currently living and succeeding in Indiana. They get insider advice about their career field from someone who has first-hand experience.
    • grow.
Students grow in their faith. We help them find a church within their internship community where they can attend and worship during the summer.
    • serve.
Students serve in a local outreach organization. Through our community connections, we help them discover a place to serve that is both meaningful to them and utilizes their unique gifts.
    • achieve.
Students receive two free credits in a 300-level course. As an incentive to join the program, IWU has agreed to award these credits at no cost.
