Presently Amul uses cell-phones to track the location of the truck.EDI has been adapted for taking the orders.GPS technology has been tested in December 2010 with 6 trucks which carrymilk to Rajasthan (Up-Country Distribution).GPS technology has not adopted yet, it’s been recommended.The GPS Technology is provided by IDEA and vendor was NIMIT Tech, AVadodara based company. 12
