  • 3. "M. S. Ramaiah School of Advanced Studies” is a Postgraduate Engineering and Management Institute. In addition to education and training, it provides Engineering Solutions & Supports Technology Business through its “ SAS TechnoSolutions” Centre SAS TechnoSolutions also offers a full range of rapid prototyping solutions. Many DRDO Laboratories and New Product Development Organisations are our clients for whom we provide high quality, cost effective and on time rapid prototyping Solutions. msrsas
  • 4. TECHNOLOGY STRATASYS made Fused Deposition Modeling Material P400 ABS Plastic (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) Layer Thickness 0.245mm or 0.33mm of precisely deposited ABS & support material Input Required 3d model files in STL, STEP, Parasolid, Prt files.. Minimum build thickness Above 1mm / 1.4mm
  • 5. THE PROCESS FDM works on an "additive" principle by laying down material in layers. A plastic filament or metal wire is unwound from a coil and supplies material to an extrusion nozzle which can turn on and off the flow. The nozzle is heated to melt the material and can be moved in both horizontal and vertical directions by a numerically controlled mechanism, directly controlled by a computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software package. The model or part is produced by extruding small beads of thermoplastic material to form layers as the material hardens immediately after extrusion from the nozzle.
