  • 6. Let’s Read a Story Now! Vijay Koganti – koviba@gmail.com
  • 7. Risking
    • Two seeds lay side by side in the fertile spring soil.
    • The first seed said, “I want to grow. I want to send my roots deep into the soil beneath me, and thrust my sprouts through the earth’s crust above me. I want to unfurl my tender buds to announce the arrival of spring. I want to feel the warmth of the sun on my face and the blessing of the morning dew on my petals.”
    • And so she grew.
    Vijay Koganti – koviba@gmail.com
  • 8.
    • The second seed said, “ I am afraid. If I send my roots into the ground below, I don’t know what I will encounter in the dark. If I push my way through the hard soil above me I may damage my delicate sprouts. If I open my little buds a snail may eat them. If I open my blossoms, a small child may pull me from the ground. No. It is better for me to wait until it is safe.”
    • She waited and waited.
    • A yard hen scratching around in the early spring for food found the waiting seed and promptly ate it.
    Vijay Koganti – koviba@gmail.com
  • 9. What is the moral?
    • If we refuse to risk and grow , we will get swallowed up by life!
    Vijay Koganti – koviba@gmail.com

  • 14. HOW MUCH DO YOU SEE OF AN ICEBERG? Vijay Koganti – koviba@gmail.com
  • 15. ONLY 10% OF ANY ICEBERG IS VISIBLE. THE REMAINING 90% IS BELOW SEA LEVEL. Vijay Koganti – koviba@gmail.com
  • 16. VISIBLE ABOVE SEA LEVEL INVISIBLE BELOW SEA LEVEL 10 % 90 % SEA LEVEL Vijay Koganti – koviba@gmail.com
  • 17.

    Vijay Koganti – koviba@gmail.com
  • 22.
    • A positive thought is the seed of a positive result.
    • If you don’t like something, change it.
    • If you can’t change it, change your attitude. Don’t complain.
    • The most significant change in a person’s life is a change of attitude. Right attitudes produce right actions.
    • If you really want to be happy, nobody can stop you.
    Vijay Koganti – koviba@gmail.com HO-1
  • 23. Is the glass half-full or half-empty? Vijay Koganti – koviba@gmail.com
  • 24.
    • Whether a glass if half-full or half-empty, depends on the attitude of the person looking at it.
    • There is a better way for everything. Find it.
    • A positive attitude is not a destination. It is a way of life.
    • The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of knowledge, but rather a lack of will.

  • 28. Let’s See another Example! Vijay Koganti – koviba@gmail.com
  • 29.
    • The Magic of Believing
    • I’m not old enough to play baseball or football. I’m not eight yet.
    • My mom told me when you start baseball, you aren’t going to be able to run that fast because you had an operation.
    • I told mom I wouldn’t need to run that fast. When I play baseball, I will just hit them out of the park. Then I’ll be able to walk.
Edward J.Mc Grath, Jr. “An Exceptional View of Life” Vijay Koganti – koviba@gmail.com
  • 30.
    • The positive thinker sees the invisible, feels the intangible, and achieves the impossible.
    • The man with confidence in himself gains the confidence of others.
    • You will only go as far as you think you can go.
    • The biggest mistake of all is to avoid situations in which you might make a mistake.
    Vijay Koganti – koviba@gmail.com
  • 31. Vijay Koganti – koviba@gmail.com
  • 32. Setting Goal for Success Vijay Koganti – koviba@gmail.com
  • 33. Goals are dreams and wants; but a goal is more specific. The purpose of goals is to give you something that you want to enhance your life in some way, so the most important thing you need to know about goals is that you ought to have some . Vijay Koganti – koviba@gmail.com
  • 34.
    • Anyone who does anything worthwhile anywhere has consciously or unknowingly followed through on a goal.
    • Goals keep us focused on a purpose.
    • They help us through difficult times when many others less motivated would give up.
    • A person who wants to get the most out of life often has a number of goals simmering at the same time, in their personal and business lives.
    Vijay Koganti – koviba@gmail.com
  • 35. Vijay Koganti – koviba@gmail.com
  • 36. Vijay Koganti – koviba@gmail.com
  • 37. Setting Goals Effectively Vijay Koganti – koviba@gmail.com
  • 38. State each goal as a positive statement: express your goals positively - 'Execute this technique well' is a much better goal than 'don't make this stupid mistake‘ Vijay Koganti – koviba@gmail.com
  • 39. Be precise: set a precise goal, putting in dates, times and amounts so that you can measure achievement. If you do this, you will know exactly when you have achieved the goal, and can take complete satisfaction from having achieved it. Vijay Koganti – koviba@gmail.com
  • 40. Set priorities: where you have several goals, give each a priority . This helps you to avoid feeling overwhelmed by too many goals, and helps to direct your attention to the most important ones. Vijay Koganti – koviba@gmail.com
  • 41. Write goals down : this crystallizes them and gives them more force Vijay Koganti – koviba@gmail.com
  • 42. Keep operational goals small: keep the low-level goals you are working towards small and achievable . (If a goal is too large, then it can seem that you are not making progress towards it. Keeping goals small and incremental gives more opportunities for reward. Derive today's goals from larger ones.) Vijay Koganti – koviba@gmail.com
  • 43. Do not set goals too low: just as it is important not to set goals unrealistically high, do not set them too low . People tend to do this where they are afraid of failure or where they are lazy! You should set goals so that they are slightly out of your immediate grasp, but not so far that there is no hope of achieving them. Vijay Koganti – koviba@gmail.com
