  • 1. Antoni Gaudí wasborn in 1852 in Reus,in the province ofTarragona. AntoniaCornet and FranciscoGaudi had fivechildren, the last ofwhich was Antoni.
  • 2. MAIN WORKS PARK GÜELLAt the entrance of the Park Güell youcan see the lizard. Eusebi Güellasked Gaudi to built this park andPark Güell was built between 1900and 1914.The original purpose was tocreate stylish park for Barcelona.

  • 4. He also began the Park Guell, which was initially built as a garden-city.THIS IS THE ENTRANCE OF PARK GÜELL
  • 5. His masterwork was SagradaFamília
  • 6. The Sagrada Familiaconstruction began in 1883, butthe church remained unfinishedduring Gaudi´s lifetime. TheSagrada Familia has eighteentall towers.

Gaudi worked on many other projects throughout Barcelona: CASA BATLLÓCasa Batlló was built between 1904 to 1906 inPasseig de Gracia 43, Barcelona by AntonyGaudi.Gaudi used colours and shapes found inmarine life as inspiration for his creativity tobuild this house.From the outside of the façade of casa Batllólooks like it has been made from skulls andbones. The "skulls" are in fact balconies andthe "bones" are supporting pillars.Gaudi asked Josep Batlló to build this house.Nowadays anybody lives there. It is only atourist house visited by people of all the world.

  • 9. He was run downby a tramway. He died on 10th of June in 1926 in Barcelona.
