2. SAUDI ARABIA
Saudi Arabia, officially known as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is the
largest Arab state in Western Asia by land area and the second-largest
in the Arab world. Its population is estimated to consist of 16 million
citizens and an additional 9 million registered foreign expatriates and 2
million illegal immigrants.
The Saudi Arabian government has been an absolute monarchy since
its inception, and it describes itself as being Islamic.
3. It is bordered by Jordan and Iraq to the north, Kuwait to the
northeast, Qatar, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates to the
east, Oman to the southeast, Yemen in the south, the Red Sea
to the west and Persian Gulf to the east.
5. MANNERS
Theaters and cinemas are forbidden, because the Wahabbi
thinks these institutions don’t match to the Islam. Anyway, in
some private places, you can find musicals, plays, etcetera,
but not movies.
6. BEAUTY IDEALS
The Koran orders Muslim men and women to dress modestly. In
wearing a hijab, Muslim women are liberated from the ideals of the
world. In wearing the hijab, women gain a sense of self-respect and
the knowledge that they are a beautiful treasure waiting to be unveiled.
This also allows men to fall in love with women based on who they are
and not what they look like.
7. MEN’S CLOTHES
The clothes are very symbolic. They represent the
relation between men, the Earth, the past and the Islam.

12. COMPARISON
ARABIC
ARGENTINIAN
There is no fixed
concept of beauty. Islam
does not set up
unrealistic standards and
then expect to meet
these rather it tells us
what image we need to
adopt in various
circumstances.
They are based on
what the media offers
them without loving
themselves. They are
always worried about
what the people is going
to say about them.
