    • You must be a registered Library user. If not, please complete aLibrary registration form and e-mail to:antoinette.lourens@up.ac.za or Fax to: +27 12 529 8302 Enter your student/ personnel number ( e.g.12345678) If you have a PIN type it here.     • Do a search on CAB Abstracts and Selectedselect the references to export results can be exported to Refworks

    • Click on View Last Imported Folder to se thelist of references

    • To add references to afolder select “All in list”, click on the Folder icon and click on the folder name

    • Medline &Zoological Record
    • Results can be Exported to aDo a search on Medline / Zoological referenceRecord and select the references to managing softwareexport e.g. Refworks Results can be selected or used as a set
    • Select Refworks in the Export To window Complete the other 3 fields and click on Export Citation

    • To add references to afolder select “All in list”, click onthe Add icon and click on the folder name

    • Do a search on ScienceDirect and select the Click on “Exportreferences to be exported citations”
    • 1. Decide on theContent Format2. Select Refworks Direct Export3. Click on Export

    • Click on ViewLast Imported Folder andcontinue as setout in the CABAbstracts andMedline slides
    • Wildlife & Ecology Studies Worldwide
    • Do a search and select some of therecords by clicking on “Add to folder”
    • After the records have been added click on “Folder” or “Folder view” to see the list of selected records
    • Select records toexport from thedisplayed folder To export the selected results click on Export
    • 1. Select the “Direct Export to Refworks” button2. Click on “Save”
    • Click on View Last Imported Folderand continue as set out in theCAB Abstracts and Medline slides
    • UP Explore (catalogue of UP)&Pubmed
    • Login to Refworks andclick on Search. Select Online Catalogue or Database
    • In the Searchwindow selectUniversity of Pretoria
    • Click on Advancedsearch .Select a field andtype the keywords.Click on Search
    • Work through the displayed list andmark the references to add to your folder. Click on Import to folder. Select the correct folder.
    • Click on OK
    • Click on View Last Imported Folder and continue asset out in the CAB Abstracts and Medline slides
    • ISAP• (Index to South African periodicals)
    • Enter search terms and click on “Search”1. Mark the references you wish to add to your database2. Click on “Export”
    • Click on View Last Imported Folderand continue as set out in the CAB Abstracts and Medline slides
    • Add references manually
    • Manual input Login to Refworks and click on New Reference
    • Complete thistemplate andclick on Save Reference
    • How to get a list of your references
    • Click onReferences and then select “Export”
    • Click on References to Include andselect the folders to be included
    • Click on Export Format andselect Citation List
    • Click onExport
    • All the references in the AnimalDiseases folder
