  • Versasec is a software company that develops and sells identity and access management (IAM) systems to the enterprise and government markets.

The primary focus is systems for managing access enabling devices such as: ID cards, mobile devices, virtual tokens and key fobs.

Versasec delivers this fundamental part of enterprise security in new way that significantly lowers the barriers to acquire strong security.

  • Security device management means making sure that the device is in the correct state and that connected systems knows about this state, throughout the lifecycle of the device.

    For example:
    1. A badge is issued when a Bob joins Acme Inc. [vSEC:CMS]
    2. The Bob uses it to access buildings and computer systems every day.
    3. One day Bob forgets his PIN code, his friend Alice quickly assists to unblock it [vSEC:CMS]
    4. After almost 2 years a certificate on Bob’s card is about to expire, he gets a notification and uses self-service to renew the certificate [vSEC:CMS]
    5. One day Bob gets a much more attractive job offer from an undisclosed company and turns in his resignation and walks out the door.
Sally in HR then terminates Bob’s employment witch automatically revokes all rights from Bob’s badge [vSEC:CMS]
