Life cycle of a frog

  1. 1. Life Cycle of a Frog
  2. 2. Most eggs that frogs lay are found in calm static waters to prevent getting rambled on during infancy
  3. 3. • Shortly after hatching, the tadpole still feeds on the remaining yolk, which is actually in its gut! The tadpole at this point consists of poorly developed gills, a mouth, and a tail • After about 6-9 weeks tiny legs start to sprout • By 12 weeks the tadpole only has a small tail stub
  4. 4. By 12-16 weeks the frog will be fully grown depending on the water and food supply
