    • The White Pine is a tree of first magnitude. It can reach 48 m height and diameter about 1 m. It’s crown is regular – pyramidal at the young age and rounded in the adult trees. The bark at the top of the stem is lighter (yellowish-brown or yellowish-orange), and at the bottom - darker (dark grey and cracked). The young branches are greenish and later - greyish-brown. The buds are ovoid-extended, 1-2 sm long, with almost no resin. The leaves are arranged spirally around the branches. They are gray-green, 4-7 cm long and about 2 mm wide.

    • The Oak (Quercus) is a genus of dicotyledonous plants, including several types of deciduous trees and bushes. It is a flowering plant. It includes both deciduous and evergreen species. The fruits of oaks are a type of nut called acorns. Representatives of the genus in Bulgaria include between 7 and 15 species.

    • The fagus is a genus of deciduous broadleaf trees. The genus has about 10 species. Characteristic features of all of them are gray smooth skin and big, brown buds spindle with pointed tip. Their leaves are simple, with short stalk, arranged alternately on the twigs. They are varied in shape - ovate (widest at the bottom), elliptical (widest in the middle) to back-ovate (widest at the top). The blossoms are synoecious. Males were collected within a spherical cluster and a few females of a common handle.

    • Populus tremula is a tree that reaches a height of 35 meters. It’s bark keeps the green-brown color of the young branches for a long time. The flower buds are larger and ball-shaped and the vegetative are oval and sticky. The leaves are up to 12 cm with oval shape and with long laterally flattened handle. The flowers are unisexual, dioecious collected in pilosity catkins. The seeds are small, yellow green and pilosity. Populus tremula is found in forests and glades to a height of 2000 m.

    • Willows (Salix) are a genus of tree or shrub plants that prefer damp areas. The flowers appear with the leaves. They look like cylinders. Male flowers are yellowish and female - green. They are not the same tree, but at different. Such plants are called dioecious. Ripen in May-June. The fruit resembles a small box which is seated (without handle). Initially, the seeds are hidden in the box, but when they ripe, it splits and they are waving in the wind. Once they fall in a humid location, they sprout. Willow reaches a height of 30 m and diameter 1,5 m.

    • It is a perennial, prickly, twiggy shrub with stems reaching 1 to 5 m length. Briar blooms during May to July, the colors are light pink to white with a diameter of 4-6 cm and with five petals. The fruits (hips) ripen in autumn and are oval, orange-red, size 1-2 cm, fleshy, complete with many hairy seeds.

    • The black elderberry is a shrub or low tree that reaches up to 3 m high. The stems and the branches are gray-brown, with thin rough bark. The leaves are opposite, serrated on the edge, with 3-9 leaflets. There are soft, yellowish-white flowers that smell good and we use them for tea in the winter.

    • Crocus is a genus of perennial flowers from the family of Iridaceae. The stem is partially hidden under the ground. During the flowering, it has several sharp green leaflets. There are species with yellow and those with light blue or purple flowers. There are varieties with blue, purple and orange hues. Some species bloom in spring and another in autumn. There are about 40 species of Crocus most of which are cultivated. In Bulgaria the are nine species and the different species have different preferences for environmental conditions.

    • Thymus is a genus of about 350 species of aromatic perennial herbaceous plants and small shrubs to 40 cm high, of the family Lamiaceae. The stems are thin, the leaves are evergreen and in most species are arranged in opposite pairs, the shape is oval, cut and small - between 4 and 20 mm in length. The flowers are in dense terminal clusters. The corolla is tubular, 4-10 mm long, white, pink or violet.

    • Hypericum perforatum is a herbaceous plant species of the family Clusiaceae. Tt is a perennial herb with a naked, severely diluted the upper part stem. It reaches a height of 30 to 70 cm. The leaves are opposite, with no handles, oval-elliptical shape and reach length of 1 to 3 sm. The flowers are yellow, collected on the top of the stem in the raceme. Its calyx consists of 5 oblong pointed, free leaflets. The corolla has 5 bright yellow leaflets, twice longer than these form the calyx. There are many stamens which are fused at the base in 3 bundles. Hypericum perforatum blooms from May to September.
